## Description

This compact automatic trash can pair brings hands-free convenience to small spaces, combining a motion sensor lid with a slim, modern profile for bathrooms, kitchens, or bedrooms. The set includes two sizes to handle light waste efficiently and reduce contact with germs, making quick disposal easier during daily routines.

## Key Points

The soft-opening lid activates when your hand or waste approaches the infrared sensor and closes automatically after about 5 seconds, according to the manufacturer. This touchless operation helps keep odors and fingerprints to a minimum while making short tasks like disposing of tissues or coffee grounds faster and cleaner. One practical advantage is that both units fit narrow spaces, so they work well beside sinks, toilets, or under counters. Note that batteries are required to operate the sensors; the package does not include the two AA batteries per bin. 🧼

## Usage Recommendations

Install plastic liners or reusable grocery bags sized to each bin to simplify emptying and maintenance. If using in the kitchen, place the larger unit near prep areas and the smaller one in the bathroom or laundry to handle smaller debris. Avoid overfilling and keep the sensor area clear of stickers or tape that might interfere with motion detection. The ABS plastic shell wipes clean easily with a damp cloth, so routine upkeep is quick. 🚮

## The Essentials

The design follows a Nordic minimal aesthetic that blends into contemporary interiors without drawing attention. The lid mechanism is optimized for small items such as paper scraps, peelings, and crumbs, so it may not be suited for large kitchen waste or heavy refuse. For people prioritizing hygiene and compact storage, the motion sensor opens a practical, hands-free workflow. Consider placement away from direct sunlight or heat sources to avoid any impact on sensor performance.
