## Description

This silicone pet placemat helps contain food and water spills while keeping bowls steady during mealtime. The Ptlom mat is designed for small to large pets and combines a raised spill-proof edge with a textured surface to limit messes and protect floors, making feeding times cleaner and less rushed.

## Key Points

The mat features a raised border that acts as an overflow barrier to stop food and water from reaching the floor. Its thick, textured surface increases friction so bowls are less likely to slide around while pets eat or drink. Cleaning is straightforward because the silicone surface wipes or rinses clean and resists stains and odors according to the manufacturer. Consider the mat dimensions to make sure it fits your pet’s bowls and feeding area.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Ptlom Pet Placemat for Dog and Cat**
- Material: - Silicone
- Size: - 18" x 12"
- Color: - Grey
- Compatible pets: - Small, Medium, Big

## Advantages

This placemat reduces cleanup time by containing spills and crumbs in one place. The non-slip texture keeps bowls stable during active eaters’ meals and also cushions floors from scratches. Because silicone is water resistant, the mat can help prevent wet food or water from soaking into flooring and causing damage. It also helps discourage pets from nosing food off the dish onto the floor where it could become contaminated.

## Usage Recommendations

Place the mat on a flat surface below feeding bowls and center dishes within the raised edge to maximize spill control. Wipe with a damp cloth or rinse under running water after use, and allow to air dry. Note that the 18" x 12" size suits many standard bowls but may not be sufficient for very large or multiple-dish setups, so verify bowl footprint before relying on it for larger feeding stations.
