PTAZSCTC WaMat_60x60_LXBK Silicone Appliance Mat, 23.6 x 23.6 in

Key points

Raised edges help contain leaks, spills, and condensation before they reach the floor. This black silicone mat measures 23.6 x 23.6 inches, giving you a defined protective surface for an appliance or other household use. Its textured underside grips the floor, while the flexible silicone construction makes the mat easy to handle and store.

The design brings together floor protection and an anti-slip surface. Thickened silicone helps absorb vibration and reduce operating noise, and the textured bottom helps keep the mat in place during appliance cycles. Use it beneath a washer, dryer, refrigerator, or dishwasher to help protect floors such as hardwood, tile, and laminate from water and scuffs. It can also serve as a surface protector on a washer or dryer, depending on how you plan to use it.

Maintenance

The smooth, one-piece surface is made for straightforward cleanup: wipe it down or rinse it when spills occur. It is also described as dishwasher-cleanable, offering another option for cleaning. When the mat is not in use, its lightweight, foldable construction allows compact storage.

Everyday use

In a laundry room, the raised perimeter helps keep drips and condensation on the mat rather than spreading across the floor. The non-slip underside is useful where an appliance may vibrate during a cycle, and the mat adds a barrier between the appliance and the floor. For a refrigerator or dishwasher, the same raised-edge design provides a place to collect moisture from small spills or condensation.

Its uses extend beyond appliances: place it under pet bowls to catch splashes, use it as a plant tray, or set it on a kitchen counter as a protective surface. This makes it a practical choice when you want one flexible mat for more than a single spot around the home, office, or garage. Compared with a basic flat floor protector, this raised-edge design is intended to contain moisture while its textured underside helps hold position.

When it makes sense

Worth considering if you want a silicone mat that can help protect a floor from appliance drips while also providing a textured, non-slip base.
