PROLEE RT001 65-Gallon Reptile Terrarium with Tempered Glass and Mesh Top
Product description
Getting the most from it
For a terrestrial reptile habitat that keeps your pet visible while giving you access from the front, the PROLEE RT001 combines clear glass panels with lockable sliding doors. Its rectangular 65-gallon enclosure measures 40 x 19.5 x 19.5 inches, providing room for a reptile to move between basking and hiding areas. The metal mesh top supports ventilation and can accommodate heat lamps or UVA/UVB lighting setups, those lights are not included.
The four tempered-glass sides offer a clear view from different angles, so you can keep an eye on activity without relying on a single viewing window. A wood structure with a water-repellent polyester coating gives the habitat a warm oak look, while the acrylic bottom liner helps keep routine interior cleanup straightforward. The enclosure is designed for terrestrial reptiles, rather than aquatic species.
Where it shines
This setup makes sense when visibility and front access are priorities. Open the double sliding doors to arrange furnishings or reach into the habitat, then use the lock to secure the front. Compared with an enclosure that requires access only from above, the front-door layout offers another practical way to handle everyday care. The mesh top also leaves room for a lighting arrangement suited to the reptile’s setup.
Use the interior to create distinct areas for basking, shelter, and movement, with the clear panels making those areas easy to observe. The included stand gives the enclosure a designated place in an indoor habitat arrangement. Buyers often praise its spacious feel, appearance, and ease of assembly, feedback on installation and durability is more mixed, with some reporting cracked pieces.
