## Description

This Proctor Silex Coffee Grinder delivers consistent, fine grind quality for up to 12 cups of coffee, ideal for daily brewing routines. With a simple on-off mechanism and built-in safety lock, it ensures smooth operation without accidental startup. The device is designed for users who value precision, ease of use, and reliable performance in both home and office settings.

## Key Points
The Proctor Silex Coffee Grinder features a compact design that fits easily on kitchen counters or near your coffee maker. It operates with a one-button control—press to grind, release to stop—making it accessible for all users, from beginners to seasoned coffee lovers. A secure locking mechanism prevents the motor from activating when the lid is not properly closed, reducing the risk of spills or unintended operation.

The grinding blades are made from durable stainless steel, offering long-term performance and resistance to wear. This construction ensures consistent results over time, even with frequent use. The unit supports a range of coffee beans and grounds, allowing for both light and medium roasts.

## Technical Specifications
**Brand and Model:** Proctor Silex Coffee Grinder
**Grind Capacity:** Up to 12 cups
**Grind Type:** Fine to medium
**Motor Power:** 300 watts
**Material:** Stainless steel blades
**Dimensions:** 6.5 x 3.5 x 5.5 inches
**Weight:** 2.2 pounds

## Benefits
It provides a uniform grind that enhances the flavor and aroma of freshly brewed coffee, helping to avoid bitterness or under-extraction. The quiet operation makes it suitable for use in small spaces or early morning routines. Unlike some models, it does not require cleaning after each use—just a quick wipe with a damp cloth.

The grinder also works well with herbs and spices such as pepper, coriander, and cinnamon, making it a versatile tool for home cooking. Users can prepare spice blends or seed mixes like chia or flax for smoothies or baked goods.

## Usage Recommendations
For best results, always ensure the lid is fully locked before pressing the button. This prevents the motor from starting unexpectedly. Clean the chamber after each use with a soft cloth to maintain blade sharpness and prevent residue buildup. Store the grinder in a dry area to protect the motor and maintain longevity.

For coffee, use pre-ground beans or whole beans, depending on your brewing method. For herbs and seeds, adjust the grind setting slightly to achieve the desired texture. Avoid over-grinding, especially with delicate herbs, to preserve their aroma and flavor.
