## Description

A six-layer absorbent design helps turn liquid into gel on contact, while a plastic backing creates a barrier between accidents and the floor. The Powools 800XL pads measure 34 x 28 in, giving dogs a broad spot for indoor potty training and everyday use.

With 100 pads in the pack, you can keep a supply ready for routine changes at home or while traveling. What makes a larger pad useful? It offers more coverage than a standard-size pad, which can help when a dog needs extra room.

## Benefits

The quilted top directs liquid into the absorbent layers, where polymer material helps lock in moisture. This design is made to keep messes contained and protect floors such as carpet or hardwood. The leak-resistant plastic backing adds another barrier beneath the pad, making it useful for creating a designated indoor potty area.

The 34 x 28 in format provides a generous surface for puppies learning where to go, as well as adult or senior dogs that need an indoor option. The pads are also described for use with cats, rabbits, and other small pets. A 100-pack gives you a ready supply for regular replacement, whether you keep pads in one familiar spot or need them during travel.

## What to know

These training pads are made with six layers and plastic and polymer materials. Use the quilted side facing up, and place each pad on a flat, even surface. The product is intended for potty training and indoor pet use, including situations such as caring for a sick dog or giving a pet an indoor option while away from its usual routine.

Buyers often describe the pads as absorbent and useful for training, including with elderly dogs. Feedback is more mixed on leak resistance, durability, and how much liquid the pads hold, some buyers also criticize their thin feel. Replacing pads according to your pet’s size and use helps keep the potty area fresh.

## Care tips

Replace the pad regularly based on your pet’s size and how often it is used. The stated guidance is every 1–2 uses for small dogs, and more frequently for large dogs. Set it down flat and use only the quilted top side. Avoid stacking pads, which can interfere with liquid distribution, and don’t pour a large amount of liquid onto one as a test, that does not reflect typical use.

## Practical questions

**How large is each pad?** Each pad measures 34 x 28 in, providing a wide surface for an indoor potty area.

**Which side should face up?** Place the quilted side facing up so liquid can reach the absorbent layers.

**Can these pads be used with pets besides dogs?** They are also described for cats, rabbits, and other small pets.

## Buying verdict

For pet owners setting up an indoor potty spot, the Powools 800XL combines a wide 34 x 28 in surface with six absorbent layers and a plastic backing. Its 100-pad supply suits regular replacement routines, while the stated uses include puppies, adult and senior dogs, and travel. You’ll appreciate it if you want a larger training pad format for everyday indoor pet care.
