plusgutter Flexible Downspout Extension, 4-Inch Diameter, 3.4–16.5 ft, Brown
Product description
A short runoff path may work for one spot, while a longer route can help direct water around landscaping or farther from the house. The plusgutter flexible downspout extension adjusts from 3.4 ft to 16.5 ft, so you can choose a reach that suits the area around your gutter.
Its 4-inch diameter drain extension is made from thickened PE and bends to follow the route you need. The brown finish blends into many outdoor settings, and the flexible design can be used above ground or buried.
Two adapters are included for several downspout sizes, giving this one-pack setup flexibility across different drainage layouts.
Size & fit
Set the extension to a length between 3.4 ft and 16.5 ft to guide rainwater toward a more suitable drainage area. Its flexible body can bend around or over landscaping, which is useful when a straight run is not practical. The two adapters are designed for downspouts measuring 2 x 3 inches, 3 x 3 inches, 3 x 4 inches, or 3.5 x 4 inches. Check your downspout size and choose the matching adapter when setting up the extension.
The split adapter design supports flexible placement, while the included screws help secure the extension to the downspout and keep it in place during rain. If you are planning to bury the drain, its PE construction is suitable for that use as well.
What you’ll notice day to day
The adjustable reach helps direct water away from the immediate gutter outlet toward a garden or another drainage area. Rather than relying on a fixed-length run, you can extend or bend this one to work around features in your yard. The material is designed to flex and return to its original shape without creases or cracks, and the product is described as suitable for outdoor conditions including snow and sun exposure.
Buyers often highlight the useful length, flexibility, and ease of installation. Feedback on fit and durability is mixed: some customers report a good fit and sturdy construction, while others mention alignment or splitting concerns. The included adapters and screws give you practical pieces for connecting and securing the extension during setup.
