## Description

## How it fits

The pink cowboy frog design gives this retractable badge reel a more playful look than a plain ID holder, while the pull-out cord lets you bring a badge or keys toward a reader or lock without unclipping the reel. The acrylic badge face, nylon cord, and rotating alligator clip are the main practical details, the clip is intended to attach to clothing and turn as you move.

At about 1.4 inches across, it adds a small decorative accent to a work badge. The cord extends up to 24 inches (63.5 cm), according to the listing, though it notes that manual measurements can vary.

Would a bit of frog-themed personality suit your workday better than another standard-looking badge reel? The design may also give coworkers or patients an easy conversation opener, but the useful part remains the retractable ID access. For example, you can pull the badge toward a door reader, scan in, then let the cord retract rather than removing the clip each time.

## Pros

- Retractable cord offers room to scan an ID or pull out keys while the reel stays attached.
- The alligator clip rotates 360 degrees, giving the attachment some freedom to turn with clothing movement.
- Pink cowboy frog artwork makes the badge easier to distinguish from a basic, undecorated holder.
- Acrylic and nylon construction keeps the listed materials straightforward, without adding bulk from a larger holder.

The trade-off is that this is a decorative badge accessory, not a substitute for a stronger or longer-reach setup if your work routine demands one. The listing describes the clip as secure, but it does not provide a separate load rating or durability test. If an ID must stay attached through frequent pulling and movement, the rotating clip and stated cord reach are the details to weigh. The dimensions include a note about manual-measurement variation, so don’t count on an exact fit without that measurement.

## When it makes sense

Worth considering if you wear an ID badge or name tag at work and want a small visual detail that feels more personal than a plain reel. The listing specifically presents it for nurses, nursing students, healthcare workers, dentists, pediatricians, office workers, teachers, and students. Its practical use is broad: keep the reel clipped on, pull the badge out to scan, and return it without detaching the holder.

Compared with choosing a basic, undecorated reel, this one prioritizes its pink frog design while retaining retractable access. Better avoided if you need a measured reach beyond 24 inches, want a neutral appearance, or need documented strength for a demanding badge setup. The listing does not give a weight rating or detailed wear-life information, so those needs cannot be assessed from the provided details.
