PILLANI Kids Travel Tray for Car with Erasable Drawing Surface and Tablet Pocket

The 15.5-inch-wide by 12-inch-deep erasable drawing surface gives kids room to color, play, or enjoy a snack while traveling. This lap tray is made from 600D Oxford material and folds for storage between trips. An 11-inch-wide tablet pocket, side pockets, and a drink holder keep travel essentials close. What makes it more than a tablet holder? It also gives children a place for hands-on activities.

The essentials

The erasable surface can be used for drawing and coloring, then doubles as a food tray when it is time for a snack. The 3mm-thick surface is designed to support everyday activities such as drawing, coloring, and eating. Five printed games and four coloring pens add options beyond screen time, and 30 downloadable, printable activity sheets provide more ideas for car rides or flights.

Side pockets help keep toys, art supplies, and snacks together instead of scattered around a seat. A drink holder keeps a beverage within reach, while the tablet pocket holds a device for watching shows during the trip. Compared with a basic tablet holder, this tray combines a viewing spot with space for creative play and snacks. It is a practical format for families who want several travel activities organized in one place.

Getting the most from it

This is a lap tray, not a freestanding table: it rests on a child’s lap and is designed to fold away when not in use. Its fabric sides form pockets for small items. For carrying, the adjustable shoulder strap has a padded shoulder section, the tray also uses Velcro straps and a buckle. Those details make it easier to bring along and stow with other travel gear.

Tips for day-to-day use

Before setting out, place the activity supplies and snacks in the side pockets so they are easy to reach. The erasable surface can serve first as a drawing area and later as a spot for food, helping keep activities together in the same lap-based setup. For a flight, the compact, foldable format and shoulder strap are useful when carrying the tray between travel activities, in the car, it can hold a tablet, coloring supplies, and a drink within easy reach.

Buyer feedback often praises the tray for keeping children occupied on longer drives, its storage space, and its fold-away design. Experiences with fit and stability are more mixed: some buyers say it fits well around a car seat, while others report alignment or upright-position concerns. Its intended use is on a child’s lap rather than standing independently, so that design is important when choosing between a lap tray and a freestanding table.

Is it worth it?

For families looking to combine screen viewing, drawing, games, and snack time in one travel accessory, this tray brings those activities together with pockets for keeping supplies organized. The erasable surface and included games and coloring pens support creative breaks, while the tablet pocket offers another way to stay occupied on a road trip or flight. It is especially suited to travelers who want a foldable lap-based activity space rather than a freestanding table.
