## Best use cases
Indoor cats need a convenient source of drinking water, and this fountain combines a 3L/101oz reservoir with adjustable water flow. The larger capacity helps keep water available between refills in busy households, while the flowing stream offers an alternative to a still bowl. Its stainless steel construction is designed to resist rust, corrosion, and odors, making it a practical fit for daily use around the home.

The fountain can also serve small dogs. A raised pump holder and outlet design help reduce splashing, and the adjustable flow lets you choose the water movement that works for your pet’s drinking area. If your cat is drawn to moving water, this setup brings a fountain-style option to an indoor feeding station.

## Usage tips
Keep water in the reservoir so the pump does not run dry, and clean the pump about every 2–3 days. The pre-filter sponge helps catch hair and debris before they reach the pump, check it along with the filter, intake, outlet, and water tube if the flow needs attention. Replace the filter when it becomes heavily clogged.

Regular cleaning also helps manage mineral buildup. White deposits can form with hard water, for stubborn buildup, diluted white vinegar can be used, followed by a thorough rinse with clean water. Customer feedback often highlights easy cleaning and quiet operation, and some buyers say their cats enjoy drinking from the fountain, including its shallow bowl design. Experiences with filtration are mixed, and some customers report pump failures after three to four months, so routine cleaning and keeping the water level up are useful parts of everyday care.

## What to clarify
**Can small dogs use this fountain?** Yes. It is described for cats and small dogs, with an outlet design intended to help reduce splashing.

**What do the filters do?** The filter and pre-filter sponge help capture hair, debris, odors, and impurities as water circulates.

**How can mineral deposits be cleaned?** Clean the fountain regularly. For stubborn white buildup, use diluted white vinegar and rinse the parts thoroughly with clean water afterward.

## Is it worth it?
For indoor pet owners choosing between a still water bowl and a circulating fountain, the PETLIBRO PLWF006 offers adjustable flow, a 3L reservoir, and stainless steel construction in one setup. It suits households looking for a shared drinking station for cats or small dogs, with two filters included and practical cleaning guidance to support regular upkeep.
