## Description

For a multi-pet household, the PETKIT P571 helps you schedule dry-food meals and check in through its camera when you’re away. Its AI-powered recognition can identify up to 15 cats and dogs, so the app can help you see which pet has visited and eaten.

The feeder combines meal scheduling with two-way audio, motion-captured clips, and night vision. Use the app to set feeding times, adjust portions, and call your pets over for mealtime.

## Key specifications
- Type: Automatic indoor feeder for dry food
- Capacity: 3 liters
- Camera: 1080p HD, 140° wide-angle view, and infrared night vision
- Recognition: AI-powered identification for up to 15 pets
- Connectivity: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi
- Materials: Stainless steel and ABS plastic
- Dimensions: 14.37 x 12.4 x 6.7 inches
- Included components: Power adapter, food bowl, and instruction manual

## Requirements
Use the feeder indoors with dry food, and connect it to a 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi network to access app features such as scheduled feeding and camera viewing. The PETKIT app lets you create a personalized feeding plan with one to five portions per meal, set camera operating times, and manage voice recording. The system can also send phone notifications for low food, power failure, or other issues.

The feeder has a triple freshness-lock system designed to help keep food dry. Its 304 stainless steel bowl has a non-stick coating and is hand-washable. Dual power supply supports the feeding schedule when operating on battery power, including when the feeder is offline.

## Usage tips
Upload photos of your pets in the app to set up recognition, then use the activity timeline to review captured moments categorized as feeding, eating, or visiting. Before-and-after bowl photos offer another way to check food levels. For a mealtime cue, record a personalized message of up to 20 seconds, it can play automatically as food is dispensed. Two-way audio also lets you speak to your pets in real time.

Compared with a basic timed feeder, the P571 adds a camera and pet recognition for households that want more visibility into who is eating. How useful would it be to check both the bowl and the pet at the same time? Buyer feedback highlights the camera and ease of setup, while experiences with Wi-Fi, app functions, and portion dispensing are mixed.

## Questions before you buy
**What type of food is it designed for?** It is recommended for indoor use with dry food.

**Can it distinguish between pets?** Yes. Its AI recognition supports up to 15 cats and dogs after you upload their photos in the app.

**Can I interact with my pets through the feeder?** Yes. It offers two-way audio, and you can record a mealtime message for playback as food is dispensed.

## Should you buy it?
Worth considering if you want scheduled dry-food feeding alongside camera monitoring and multi-pet recognition. The combination of a 3-liter hopper, app-based meal planning, night vision, and two-way audio makes the P571 especially suited to indoor homes where checking mealtimes and keeping track of different pets matters.
