## Description

For a cat that noses food around a plate or seems more comfortable with a low feeding surface, the Petdream set offers four shallow stainless steel dishes for indoor meals. Their wide, low profile is designed to reduce contact between a cat’s whiskers and the sides, while the smooth metal surface suits wet food, dry food, or water.

Each dish is listed at 6.7 inches across and 0.66 inches deep, with a 13-ounce capacity. That gives you several plates to rotate through meals or set up for more than one pet, without switching to a deep-sided bowl.

## Strengths

The main distinction is the flat, whisker-friendly shape. Instead of a narrow, high-sided bowl, these plates give cats a more open surface to reach food. That can be useful for serving canned food in a thin layer, setting out kibble, or offering water. The product is described as suitable for cats and kittens, and the listed breed recommendation covers all sizes.

Stainless steel is nonporous, and the smooth surface is described as easy to wash and dishwasher-safe. For everyday feeding, that makes the set a practical alternative to bowls where food residue can be harder to reach around the sides. Buyers also commonly praise how easy the dishes are to clean and use for both wet and dry food. Feedback on the non-slip feature is less consistent: some say the rubber grippers help keep a dish in place, while others find it still moves.

## Key takeaways

You get four stainless steel plates, each with a stated 13-ounce capacity. The shallow shape and wide opening are the key reasons to choose them over a conventional deep bowl, the material and dishwasher-safe design are useful considerations for routine cleanup. A typical setup could be one plate for wet food, another for kibble, and spare dishes ready for the next feeding or another pet.

The listing describes a silicone non-slip base that can be applied to the bottom if extra grip is wanted. Since buyer reports differ on whether the grippers prevent sliding, treat that feature as a possible aid rather than a guarantee on every floor. Would a deeper bowl be more useful? It may suit a feeding setup that specifically needs higher sides, while these plates prioritize an open, low profile.

## Care tips

The stainless steel dishes are listed as dishwasher-safe and suitable for hand washing. Their smooth, nonporous surface can make it easier to remove food residue after serving wet meals. Follow the product’s care directions for the silicone component, as the supplied details do not specify its cleaning method. Keeping the plates clean and dry between uses is a straightforward routine for a reusable feeding dish.

## Should you buy it?

You’ll appreciate it if you want several shallow metal dishes for serving cat food or water and value a surface that is described as easy to clean. Buyer feedback is generally favorable about cleaning, size, and use with wet and dry food, while opinions on the grippers are mixed. It might not be a great match if your setup depends on a firmly fixed dish or you specifically need a deep-sided bowl, those requirements are not established as strengths of this set. For everyday indoor feeding where an open plate is the priority, the four-piece format and whisker-friendly profile are the most relevant reasons to consider it.
