## Description

Settle in for a nap on the couch or add adjustable warmth to a queen-size bed with the PENGZHU TECHNOLOGY 8490 heated blanket. Its 84-by-90-inch size gives you broad coverage for relaxing at home.

The flannel-and-sherpa construction pairs a soft feel with built-in electric heating. Choose among 10 heat settings with the one-button controller to tailor the warmth to your routine.

If you want a set-it-and-forget-it blanket, the eight-hour auto shutoff adds a practical stopping point. If you prefer to adjust warmth as you settle in, the range of settings makes that easy.

## Quick overview

This gray queen-size heated blanket combines 220 GSM flannel with 200 GSM sherpa and a seamlessly integrated 2.2 mm heating wire. The fabric blend is 70% polyester and 30% acrylic, and the heavyweight design is suited to winter use, naps, and relaxing on a bed, sofa, or in an office. At 84 by 90 inches, it offers a generous blanket format for personal comfort.

The controller provides 10 heating levels across a temperature range of 86°F to 122°F. A simple one-button control keeps adjustments straightforward, while the eight-hour automatic shutoff and overheat protection add useful features for everyday operation. Overheat protection is designed to switch the blanket off if it gets too hot.

Buyers praise its softness and warmth, with some noting that it heats quickly and that the multiple settings are useful. Feedback on durability is mixed: while some report that it works well, others say theirs stopped working after three weeks. These are individual experiences, not a substitute for the product’s operating and care instructions.

## Cleaning & care

Machine washing makes routine cleaning practical. Before washing, detach the controller and use a gentle cycle. For drying, air-dry the blanket or use a tumble dryer on low heat, do not use it while it is drying, including during tumble drying or sun drying. Make sure the blanket is completely dry before reconnecting the power. Following these steps helps keep care simple while protecting the integrated heating components.

## Practical tips

Choose a heat level that suits the moment: a lower setting can provide a gentler feel while you read or relax, while the higher settings offer more warmth when you first settle in. The controller’s one-button operation makes changing levels uncomplicated. The automatic shutoff provides an eight-hour cutoff, and the overheat protection is an additional part of its safety design.

For a queen bed, the 84-by-90-inch format provides a broad heated surface, on a sofa, it works as a personal throw for a nap or a quiet evening. This is a useful approach if you want warmth you can adjust rather than a blanket with only one fixed heat level. Its machine-washable care also suits regular use, provided the controller is detached and the blanket is fully dry before power is reconnected.

## Final verdict

The PENGZHU TECHNOLOGY 8490 brings together queen-size coverage, a soft flannel-and-sherpa feel, 10 heat settings, and an eight-hour auto shutoff. You’ll appreciate it if you want adjustable warmth for winter naps or downtime on a bed or sofa, with a straightforward controller and clear machine-washing steps for ongoing care.
