## Description

For people sorting paperwork that has outgrown a standard folder, these Pendaflex file pockets offer room for thicker projects and a color-coded way to keep categories apart. The pack includes five letter-size pockets in assorted blue, green, red, and yellow.

Each pocket expands 3.5 inches and is listed to hold up to 700 sheets, so it’s aimed at substantial paper files rather than a few loose pages.

## Technical details
The pockets are letter size, with Mylar-strip-reinforced sides and double-thick, manila-lined interiors. A scored flap folds down at the front for quick access, while a full-length tab at the back gives you a place to label the pocket. The box contains five pockets in assorted colors: blue, green, red, and yellow. The description doesn’t specify how those colors are distributed across the five pockets.

The wide expansion is the main difference from a basic folder: it gives a growing project more room, but also takes up more space when filled. The stated 700-sheet capacity is useful as a reference for large paper collections, not a reason to pack every pocket to its limit without considering how you’ll store or carry it.

## Getting the most from it
Use the colors to separate active projects, client paperwork, or other groups you need to spot quickly. For example, keep a red pocket for paperwork that needs attention and a blue one for reference material, then add a label on the rear tab so the color isn’t doing all the organizing. The exact color-to-pocket mix isn’t specified, so don’t count on getting a particular number of each color.

These are paper organizers, not a general-purpose storage system. From the way it is set up, the reinforced sides and lined pockets are meant to support regular handling, while the expanding format makes more sense for substantial files than for a neat, slim stack of documents.

## Usage tips
Label the rear tab with a short project name or category, and fold the scored flap down when you want quicker front access. Keep the contents grouped by topic before filing them, a roomy pocket can hold a lot, but mixed paperwork is still hard to find. If you’re storing several pockets together, use the colors as a first visual cue and the tab labels for the detail.

A limitation is that the product description gives no exact color breakdown or pocket dimensions beyond letter size and the 3.5-inch expansion. If your filing system depends on a specific color for every category, that uncertainty matters.

## Questions before you buy
**How many pockets come in the box?** Five letter-size file pockets.

**How much can each pocket hold?** The description states an expansion of 3.5 inches and capacity for up to 700 sheets.

**Can the pockets be labeled?** Yes. Each has a full-length tab at the back, and the flap folds down at the front for access.

## When it makes sense
A solid pick if you need to keep bulky paper projects separated and want color to make them easier to identify at a glance. It’s a more capacious approach than sorting papers into ordinary folders, though it will be less convenient if your priority is keeping a thin, compact file drawer. You may want to skip it if you need a guaranteed color allocation or an organizer for just a few pages.
