Paw Science Medicated Dog and Cat Ear Cleaner with Ketoconazole and Aloe Vera
Product description
A medicated liquid ear wash with ketoconazole and soothing aloe vera helps clean pet ears while addressing itching, odor, and irritation. Paw Science makes this formula for both dogs and cats, giving households with multiple pets one ear-care solution for routine cleaning and concerns such as wax buildup or unpleasant smells.
Its gentle, sting-free formula is described as suitable for all breeds, including puppies and kittens. Use it as an ear wash, flush, and cleaner as part of your pet’s ear-care routine.
Why it’s worth it
This cleaner combines antibacterial and antifungal use with a practical cleaning step. The liquid helps wash and dry the ear canal, while the formula is intended to reduce wax buildup and help with itchy or smelly ears. Aloe vera adds a soothing component for irritated ears, and the product is also positioned for symptoms such as redness and inflammation. It is formulated for cats as well as dogs, so you can choose one product for pets of either kind.
That combination is useful when you want more than a basic wipe for the outer ear: the wash-and-flush format is designed to clean the canal and address common ear-care concerns. Buyers commonly mention that it helps with itching and odor, and some appreciate how easily loosened debris can be wiped away. Those impressions are individual experiences, while the product’s stated purpose is medicated ear cleaning and relief.

Getting the most from it
The wash-and-flush format suits regular ear-care routines as well as cleaning when wax or odor is a concern. Its stated use includes helping clean and dry the ear canal, so it offers a more complete approach than simply freshening the outside of the ear. Apply it according to the product directions, then use a tissue to wipe away loosened debris if needed. The cucumber melon scent gives the liquid a fresh fragrance, while aloe vera is included to help soothe irritated ears.
For homes with both cats and dogs, the shared species coverage makes it straightforward to keep one ear cleaner on hand. It is also formulated for puppies and kittens, extending its intended use to younger pets. The product is made in the USA in an FDA-registered facility, this describes the manufacturing facility, not FDA approval of the product.
