## Description

This heavy-duty outdoor tarp from Patiobay measures 10 by 12 feet and is built for covering gear, sheltering a vehicle or creating a temporary canopy. Its 20 mil thickness and waterproof polyethylene construction give clear protection against rain and sun, making it practical for backyard, camping and pool-side uses.

## Key Points

The tarp is made from 100% virgin polyethylene that resists tearing and fading according to the manufacturer. Reinforced edges with stitched poly rope add strength where it matters most, and metal grommets placed every 23.6 inches help secure the sheet when you need to tie it down. Consider that heavier wind exposure may require additional tie-downs beyond the grommet points.

## Technical Specifications

- **Name: Patiobay Tarp 10x12 Feet 20 Mil**
- Material: 100% virgin polyethylene
- Thickness: 20 mil
- Grommet spacing: every 23.6 inches
- Edge reinforcement: stitched poly rope hem

## Usage Recommendations

Use this tarp to cover outdoor furniture, protect a vehicle under temporary shelter, shield a pool area during storms, or create a simple camping shelter. For painting or floor protection, lay it flat and secure the corners to prevent slipping. When using as a canopy, tie lines through multiple grommets to distribute tension and reduce stress on individual points.

## Positive Aspects

The construction emphasizes durability and weather resistance, so it holds up under heavy rain and strong sunlight. The combination of reinforced hems and regularly spaced grommets makes fastening straightforward and reliable. Lightweight enough to handle by two people, it still feels robust when pulled taut, and the UV resistance helps slow color fading over time.
