## Description

To add screening along a backyard fence, patio, or garden boundary, the Patiobay HQ0116000 provides a 6 x 50 ft green mesh cover designed to reduce direct visibility while still allowing air and water to pass through. Its 170 GSM polyethylene fabric, reinforced edges, and brass grommets give you practical details for covering a long fence run and securing the screen along its edges.

The mesh is rated for 90% privacy blockage and is UV resistant. Use it to create a more screened outdoor area without covering the fence with a solid surface.

## Who it’s for

This screen suits homeowners and other property users who want to add coverage to an existing fence, or need a mesh cover for a yard, garden, patio, residential site, construction site, or greenhouse. Its 6 x 50 ft format covers a long section in one piece, while the dark green color works naturally with many outdoor settings.

For a backyard installation, measure the fence area and secure the screen evenly through its grommets. Begin at one corner, then fasten the remaining points while adjusting the tension. Let the mesh relax after unpacking, and avoid overstretching it for a smoother fit. The fabric allows airflow and water through, making it a different approach from a solid privacy panel when some ventilation is useful.

## Tech specs

- Type: Privacy fence screen and shade mesh
- Size: 6 x 50 ft
- Material: 170 GSM polyethylene mesh
- Color: Green
- Privacy blockage: 90%
- Edges: Reinforced, double-stitched
- Grommets: Brass, placed along the edges at 12-inch vertical and 24-inch horizontal intervals
- What’s included: 80 fastening straps

## Why it makes sense

The screen combines privacy-focused coverage with a breathable knit, so it can help reduce direct sightlines without sealing off the area like a solid barrier. Reinforced, double-stitched edges support attachment along the full panel, and evenly spaced grommets give you multiple points to fasten it to a fence. The material is also described as UV resistant and suitable for varied weather, making it intended for outdoor use.

What matters more for your setup: a continuous cover, or a rigid panel? This mesh is suited to the first approach. It can be secured with the included straps through the grommets, fastening it evenly helps keep the fabric aligned across the fence. Buyers often praise its appearance, sturdiness, and screening effect, while feedback on privacy and durability is mixed. Some find the mesh more see-through than expected, and some report tearing. The included ties also receive criticism, so a careful, even installation is especially useful.

## Final verdict

Choose the Patiobay HQ0116000 when you want a long, green mesh screen for a fence, yard, or garden and value a combination of reduced visibility and airflow. The 170 GSM fabric, reinforced edges, and brass grommets make it a practical fit for covering an existing boundary, with a 6 x 50 ft panel suited to extended runs.
