Owala FreeSip Sway C08467W 30 oz Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle
Product description
Choosing a bottle for quick straw sips is different from choosing one that lets you drink from an open spout, too. The Owala FreeSip Sway offers both options in one 30 oz insulated stainless steel bottle, with a locking push-button lid and a carry handle for moving between daily routines.
Its Toile Be Home finish, tapered shape, and cupholder-friendly base make it suited to commutes, school, workouts, and travel.
Quick overview
The FreeSip spout lets you drink upright through the built-in straw or tilt the bottle back to sip from the spout. That choice is handy when your preferred way to drink changes throughout the day, without needing a separate straw lid. The push-button lid covers the spout between sips and locks closed, while the bucket handle gives you a practical way to carry the bottle by hand.
Triple-layer insulation keeps drinks cold for up to 24 hours. The wide opening makes it easier to add ice and reach inside for cleaning, and the sweat-proof exterior helps keep the outside dry during use. At 30 oz, it offers room for water without the larger 40 oz size in the same line. Its base is designed to fit most car cupholders, and the bottle measures 3.94 inches wide by 10.51 inches high.
Buyers highlight the bottle’s design and appreciate its stated cold retention of up to 24 hours. The bottle is made without BPA, lead, or phthalates. It is intended for cold drinks, not hot liquids.
Maintenance
Hand-wash the stainless steel bottle. The lid is dishwasher safe and can be disassembled for cleaning. The wide-mouth opening also makes it easier to rinse the bottle and add ice before filling.
Practical tips
Choose the built-in straw for upright sipping while working, studying, or taking a break between activities. When you prefer a direct pour-like sip, tilt the bottle and drink from the spout instead. Close and lock the push-button lid when carrying it in a bag or taking it along on a drive. For car or spin-bike use, the tapered, cupholder-friendly base is designed to fit most cupholders, the handle also makes it easy to grab when you’re heading out. Use it for cold water and other cold drinks, and hand-wash the bottle as part of regular care.
