Oval Lift-Top Coffee Table, 27.5-Inch

Fit and sizing

For people who want a coffee table that can shift between lounging, working, and casual meals, this oval design brings the surface closer to the sofa or chair. The top lifts from 25 inches to 30.9 inches and swivels 360 degrees, so you can turn it toward your seat instead of leaning across the table. The listed dimensions are 27.5 inches deep, 15.7 inches wide, and 30.9 inches high.

It also rolls on four swivel casters, each with a locking brake. If you’re matching it to a sofa or chair, the height range helps, but seat and clearance dimensions aren’t provided, so fit is harder to judge without that measurement.

Pros

The lift-top surface is useful when a laptop, book, or plate needs to sit closer to you, while the rotating top lets you adjust its position without moving the whole table. Beneath it, a hidden compartment holds everyday items such as books, toys, cups, or other small essentials. Two lower compartments with a sliding door add a separate place for blankets and snacks, keeping some living-room clutter out of sight.

Built-in power adds practical value if your usual charging spot is across the room: the table has two AC outlets and two USB ports, plus a cable cutout underneath to route cords. Picture settling onto the couch, turning the top toward you, and plugging in a phone while keeping the remote and a book tucked away. The wheels make it easier to reposition the table for a different layout, and their brakes let you lock it in place afterward.

You’ll appreciate it if you want storage, charging, and a work-friendly surface in one movable piece. But does that combination matter more than a simpler table with fewer moving parts? The lift mechanism, swivel top, storage doors, and casters add versatility, though they also make this a more feature-rich design than a basic stationary coffee table. Better avoided if you want a fixed, minimalist surface or don’t need the extra storage and charging features.

Should you buy it?

This table makes most sense if you’ll use the adjustable surface regularly, need concealed storage, or want outlets within reach of a sofa or home-office seat. Its rolling base suits rooms that do double duty, where furniture sometimes needs to move out of the way, a conventional fixed coffee table is the more straightforward choice if you mainly want a stable surface and don’t expect to use the lift, storage, or power features. The stated dimensions also deserve a close look in a smaller seating area: the table is relatively narrow, and the listing doesn’t give seat-clearance details. Choose it for its combination of access, storage, and mobility, not simply as a decorative centerpiece.
