OutdoorMaster Kelvin ski and snowboard helmet

This ski and snowboard helmet combines protection and breathability for all-mountain use, offering a reinforced ABS shell and an impact-absorbing EPS core to help reduce force from falls while keeping long days on the slopes comfortable. The OutdoorMaster Kelvin comes with an adjustable fit system and removable, washable ear pads and inner fleece liner, making it practical for shared use and seasonal maintenance.

Key Points

Comfort meets protection in a lightweight shell that balances durability with wearability. The size adjustment dial lets you fine-tune the fit during activity, and the removable inner liner and ear pads simplify cleaning after several days on snow. According to the manufacturer, the helmet runs a bit small because of the internal cushioning, so measure head circumference and add about 2 cm when selecting a size.

Usage Recommendations

For accurate sizing, measure your head circumference and add the recommended 2 cm to account for the internal padding. Adjust the dial until the helmet feels snug without pressure points, and check movement by nodding to ensure it stays stable. Remove the ear pads and fleece liner for washing after several uses, then allow them to air dry before reassembling.

Positive Aspects

Ventilation is a standout feature here, with fourteen vents intended to keep airflow steady during active runs and thermoregulation on milder days. The matte finish and broad color range give plenty of style options for matching goggles and outerwear. One nuance to consider is the sizing tendency noted by the manufacturer; heavier colder layers on the head may change perceived fit. Overall, the model provides practical, easy-to-maintain components and a solid basic protection package for recreational skiers and snowboarders.
