## Description

A permanent filing setup works well when papers stay in one place. For documents that need a tidy, covered home at a desk or around the house, the Oterri AM03118 keeps files together in a portable box. It fits letter- and legal-size folders and folds down for storage when you’re not using it.

## Specifications
- Type: File organizer box
- Model: AM03118
- Color: Gray-green
- Dimensions: 15.7" L x 12" W x 10.83" H
- Capacity: One compartment
- Features: Foldable design, flip-top lid, clear sliding bars

## Requirements
The box is designed for letter- and legal-size file folders, making it useful for organizing work papers, mail, or household documents in one place. Its clear sliding bars let folders move along the sides of the box, while the lid closes over the stored files. The box is not water-resistant, so keep paper files in a dry location.

Its rectangular footprint can sit beside a desk or on a shelf as a dedicated spot for current paperwork. Compared with leaving papers loose on a work surface, a lidded file box keeps them contained and gives them a defined place between uses. The foldable construction is also useful when the box needs to be put away.

## How to use it
The box comes preassembled, so it’s ready to fill without an assembly step. Place compatible hanging folders inside and use the sliding bars to move them as you sort documents. Close the flip-top lid to cover the contents between filing sessions. When you no longer need the box, collapse it for storage.

Use it for a simple home filing routine: keep incoming mail and papers together, then sort them into folders so they’re easier to retrieve. It can also hold books, toys, clothes, or arts and crafts supplies, offering a covered storage spot beyond paperwork.

## Questions before you buy
**Will it hold letter- and legal-size folders?** Yes. The box is designed for both sizes, and its sliding bars support hanging folders.

**Does it need to be assembled?** No. It comes preassembled, so you can start using it right away.

**Can it be stored when it’s not in use?** Yes. The box folds down to take up less space when stored.

## When it makes sense
Choose this file box when you want documents contained and accessible without setting up a permanent filing station. Its portability makes it practical for a home office, a shared work area, or a household spot where mail and important papers tend to collect. The lid keeps files covered, and the foldable design gives you a way to put the container away when filing needs change.

Buyers often praise the box’s appearance and sturdy feel, and describe it as a useful way to organize papers. Feedback on the lid’s fit is mixed, so a neat-looking lidded setup may matter more to some buyers than to others. For everyday letter- and legal-file organization with a compact, foldable format, the Oterri brings a dedicated filing space to desks and home storage areas.
