## Description

The 4.5 mm outer-diameter, 3.0 mm inner-diameter blue-tip connector is the key fit detail on this Ostrich charger. It supplies up to 65W at 19.5V and 3.33A, with stated compatibility for certain 45W HP setups. Does that make it a match for every HP laptop? No—the connector and laptop model still matter. The package includes the adapter and a power cord.

## Highlights

The PPP009L-E is a corded replacement power adapter for listed HP laptops, with a Smart Blue Tip connector. Its rated output is 65W, the product information also lists compatibility with 19.5V, 2.3A, 45W configurations. The AC input is specified as 100–240V, 50–60Hz. Those figures are useful when comparing the adapter with the requirements printed on a laptop’s original power supply, but they do not establish compatibility with every device in an HP product family.

The compatibility list covers selected ProBook, EliteBook, Pavilion, Stream, Envy, Spectre, ZBook, and Chromebook models. It names examples such as the ProBook 450 G5, EliteBook 840 G5, Pavilion x360 13-s128nr, and Stream 11 Pro G4 EE. Buyers generally describe the adapter as working well and fitting their laptops, some also regard it as a less expensive alternative to an OEM power adapter. Feedback on longevity is mixed, however, and reports about warmth during use vary.

## Tips for day-to-day use

Before choosing it, match the laptop’s exact model and charging requirements against the compatibility information, then check that it uses the blue-tip 4.5 mm by 3.0 mm connector. The broad list of HP families is a starting point, not a guarantee that every generation or configuration within those families will work. The listed 65W output and 45W compatibility refer to specified power requirements, so compare voltage and connector details as well as wattage.

For a replacement or a spare kept with a laptop, the included power cord means the package is presented as a complete adapter-and-cord set. If you move between work and home, it could serve as the dedicated second charger, its stated compatibility is the deciding factor, rather than the family name alone. You’ll appreciate it if your laptop matches the connector and one of the listed configurations. It might not be a great match if your device uses a different tip or its requirements are outside the stated specifications.

## Best use cases

This adapter is aimed at owners of specifically listed HP models who need a replacement or backup charger with a blue-tip connection. It may suit everyday laptop charging at a desk or as a travel spare, though the product details do not give a cord length or adapter weight to help assess packing convenience. Compared with buying an exact-brand replacement, this is a compatible third-party alternative, buyer comments favor its function and fit, but durability feedback is not uniform. Some buyers report a failure after about a month, while others describe satisfactory use. Reports also differ on operating temperature, with some noting warmth and others saying it does not overheat.

## Questions before you buy

**Which connector does it use?** It has a Smart Blue Tip connector listed as 4.5 mm outer diameter and 3.0 mm inner diameter. Match those measurements and the tip style to your laptop’s requirements.

**Can it serve a 45W laptop?** The product information states compatibility with 19.5V, 2.3A, 45W setups, alongside its 65W, 19.5V, 3.33A output. Confirm that your specific laptop is included in the compatibility information.

**What comes in the package?** The listed contents are one adapter and one power cord.

## Is it worth it?

It is worth considering when you need a 65W replacement or backup for a listed HP laptop and have confirmed the blue-tip connector and power requirements. The combination of a broad model list and buyer comments about fit makes it a practical alternative to investigate, but neither establishes a match for an unlisted laptop. If you need an exact fit without checking model details, or place particular importance on consistent long-term durability, the mixed buyer reports are a reason to weigh an exact-model replacement instead.
