Product description
This heavy-duty bearing puller set from Orion Motor Tech is built for removing wheel hub bearings, pinion bearings, pulleys and similar press-fit parts with controlled force. With a claimed 5 ton capacity and a range of jaws and extensions, the kit is useful for garage mechanics and DIYers tackling front and rear hub jobs on cars, ATVs and light trucks.
Key Points
The kit combines a 2" and a 3" bearing separator, a 6-inch yoke and a 6-1/4-inch forcing screw so you can adapt to different bearing sizes and extraction depths. The knife-edge tapered separators are designed to slip behind bearings and grip them for straight pull removal, which helps when working in tight spots or on stacked components. According to the manufacturer, the 5 ton capacity covers most household and light professional pulling tasks, and the steel finish includes a black oxide treatment to resist corrosion. Consider that very large or heavily-corroded press-fit parts may require additional heat or penetrating lubricant to release them effectively.
Technical Specifications

Usage Recommendations
Use the separators with the forcing screw aligned axially to avoid side loading and uneven stress on the tool. When working on wheel hub axles or pinion bearings, back off the retaining fasteners and ensure the separator knives are fully seated behind the bearing lip before applying force. For corroded parts, apply penetrating oil and allow time for it to work before attempting extraction, and wear eye protection while operating the forcing screw. If you need extra reach, combine the extension bolts supplied to position the yoke at the correct distance from the workpiece.
