## Description

Cruise travelers who need extra outlets without surge protection get three AC outlets plus four USB charging ports in this One Beat power strip. It has two USB-A and two USB-C ports, a 45-degree flat plug, and a braided extension cord. The listing describes it as suitable for cruise cabins, dorm rooms, hotels, and home offices.

For a desk or bedside setup, the flat plug is designed to sit close to the wall, while the USB ports let you charge compatible devices without using an AC outlet for each USB charger. One important detail: the product name says 15 ft, but another description section says 6 feet, so the cord length is inconsistent in the supplied information.

## Quick sizing guide

The strip provides three standard outlets and four USB ports, for up to seven connected devices across those connections. Its USB output is listed at 22.5W/4.5A total, that figure is shared across the USB ports, not a per-port rating. The two USB-C ports are specified at 5V/3A each, and the two USB-A ports at 5V/2.4A each. Actual charging speed can depend on the devices connected and how the shared output is used.

The 45-degree flat plug is intended for outlets behind furniture, where a straight plug can stick out farther. The cord-length mismatch matters if you are choosing it to reach a distant desk or bed: confirm the correct length for the specific version before relying on the product name. The item is also listed as a Type B, three-pin North American plug.

## Why it makes sense

The mix of AC outlets and USB ports suits a shared charging spot: for example, a cruise cabin nightstand can power plug-in devices while phones, tablets, or other USB-powered gear use the built-in ports. At a home office, the flat plug may also help when the outlet is behind a desk. This differs from a basic extension cord, which offers reach but no built-in USB charging, and from a surge-protected strip, which serves a different need.

The strip is specifically described as having no surge protection, a detail relevant to cruise use. Its USB-C ports are not Quick Charge 3.0 and do not support devices that require 9–22V charging. Buyers appreciate the port selection and compact form for travel, but some report that USB ports stopped working after initial use, those reports are worth weighing if USB charging is central to your setup.

## When it makes sense

Worth considering if you need several AC connections and USB charging in one compact strip, especially for a cruise cabin, dorm room, hotel, or a wall outlet tucked behind furniture. You may want to skip it if surge protection is a requirement, or if a device needs a higher-voltage USB-C charging mode that this product does not support. For a setup where cord reach is the deciding factor, the conflicting length details make confirmation especially important.
