## Description

Set up a home office, dorm desk, or living room charging spot with one tower-style power strip. It combines 12 AC outlets with four USB ports, including two USB-C ports. A flat plug and 6-foot extension cord make it easier to position the tower where your devices are used. Need to connect several plugs and charge USB devices in one place?

## Key points

The tower provides 12 AC outlets and four USB ports—two USB-A and two USB-C—so you can power a mix of electronics without dedicating each device to a separate wall outlet. The USB-A ports are rated up to 2.4A and 12W max, while the USB-C ports are rated up to 3A and 15W max. This layout is useful for a shared desk or bedside area where plugged-in equipment and USB-charged devices sit together.

A 2000-joule surge protection rating is paired with short-circuit, over-current, overload, and overheating protection. The on/off switch gives you a central way to control the power strip. Its 0.31-inch flat plug is designed to sit close to the wall, and the 6-foot cord gives you flexibility to place the tower on a desk or beside furniture.

## Usage tips

For a home office setup, place the tower near the devices you use most: AC outlets can serve equipment with standard plugs, while the USB ports provide connection points for compatible USB-charged electronics. The cord can extend the reach from a Type B, three-prong North American outlet. Keep the tower accessible so the switch and connected plugs are easy to reach.

The product is rated for 125V and a maximum current of 15A. When arranging connected devices, follow their power requirements and the power strip’s ratings. The tower format can help consolidate charging and power connections in one spot rather than scattering them around a desk or room.

## Practical tips

The flat plug can be helpful when the outlet is behind a sofa or close to furniture, while the extension cord lets you position the tower away from the wall. Before settling on a location, consider where the cord can run neatly and where you can reach the outlets and switch. For a compact workstation, this setup can keep several AC plugs and USB charging connections close at hand.

Buyers often praise the number and variety of outlets, the space-saving tower design, and how straightforward it is to use. Feedback on charging speed is mixed, so the USB ports are best viewed as convenient charging connections rather than a promise of the same charging time for every device.

## When it makes sense

This tower is a practical choice when a desk, dorm room, or shared living area needs multiple AC outlets alongside USB-A and USB-C connections. Compared with a basic power strip focused on AC outlets, its built-in USB ports add charging options in the same footprint, compared with relying on scattered wall adapters, the tower groups connections in one accessible place. Choose it for a setup where outlet variety, a close-to-wall plug, and flexible placement from a 6-foot cord are useful day to day.
