OhO sunshine AI Smart Glasses with Photochromic Z87.1 Lenses and Open-Ear Audio

The rectangular, wraparound frame pairs a full-frame design with photochromic lenses. These Bluetooth smart glasses combine open-ear audio, voice control, and AI translation for travel and everyday use. How can you stay connected while still hearing what is happening around you? Their open-ear speakers let ambient sounds remain audible while you take calls or listen to audio.

Why it makes sense

The OhO sunshine AI Smart Glasses are designed to bring useful phone-connected features into a pair of sunglasses. Through the OhO app, ChatGPT-powered translation supports 165 languages and six modes, including FreeTalk and Photo Translation. That gives travelers and multilingual users options for conversations and translation tasks while on the move.

Dual open-ear speakers handle calls and music without covering the ears, and voice control supports hands-free calling. Bluetooth 5.2 provides the wireless connection. The advertised battery life is up to 10 hours of playtime after a 1.5-hour charge, so the glasses can support listening and calls during a day out. Compared with carrying separate earbuds for audio, this design keeps the ears open to surrounding conversation and sounds.

What to know

The lenses are polarized, provide 100% UV protection, and transition from clear indoors to light gray in sunlight. Their tint varies with UV exposure, and the transition is lighter than traditional dark sunglasses. The lenses are also described as blue-light blocking, and the glasses are specified as meeting ANSI/ISEA Z87.1 safety standards. The frame is rectangular and wraparound, with a 5.6-centimeter lens width and a standard size.

These glasses do not have a camera. Their photo-related feature is translation through the app, rather than taking pictures with the glasses. Buyer feedback highlights the appeal of the transitioning lenses and versatility, while opinions on audio quality and Bluetooth or app connectivity vary. Some buyers also report reliability concerns, so the glasses are best considered for their documented translation, audio, and lens features rather than as a substitute for a dedicated camera or audio system.

Who it’s for

It suits you if you want sunglasses that add hands-free calls, music, and app-based translation to travel or daily routines. For example, a traveler can use FreeTalk for a conversation, listen through the open-ear speakers, and keep ambient sounds audible while walking. The wraparound format and lenses that shift from clear to light gray also support moving between indoor and outdoor settings without changing the glasses.
