## Description

## Spec sheet

The Ogutter extensions adjust from 21 to 66 inches, giving you room to direct downspout water farther from the outlet. Their flexible metal pipes can be bent into a shape that suits the drainage route and are designed to maintain that shape, so you can work around the layout of your yard rather than relying on a fixed, straight extension. The brown finish keeps the extensions visually understated alongside many outdoor surfaces.

Choose an adjustable extension when the drainage path needs to change or the outlet-to-discharge distance varies. A fixed-length pipe may suit a simple, consistent route, while these extendable pipes offer more flexibility for positioning and shaping.

## Usage tips

Start by checking the shape and size of your downspout so you can select the matching adapter. The set includes adapters for the listed downspout sizes, and screws help secure an adapter in place. Once attached, extend each pipe to the length needed to guide water toward your chosen drainage area, then shape it to follow the route through the yard.

For a longer route, multiple drain pipes can be connected by rotating them together. This makes it possible to build out from the downspout rather than depending on one fixed-length section. The flexible design also lets you adjust the pipe’s direction to fit the space around garden edges or other features. As with any drainage extension, position the outlet where water can flow away from the downspout and the area you want to protect.

## Included in the package

The package contains two extendable drain pipes, four adapters, eight extra screws, and instructions. Having two pipes and multiple adapters in one set gives you components for setting up drainage at two downspouts or creating a longer route with connected sections, depending on your layout.

## Questions before you buy

**What length can each extension reach?** Each pipe extends from 21 to 66 inches. That range lets you adjust the reach to suit the distance and route between the downspout and the intended drainage area.

**Which downspouts are compatible?** The included adapters are designed for 2 x 3, 3 x 3, and 4 x 3-inch downspouts. Use the adapter that matches your downspout, then secure it with the supplied screws.

**Can the pipes follow a non-straight route?** Yes. The flexible pipes can be bent into the shape needed for the drainage path and are designed to maintain their shape. Multiple pipes can also be connected by rotating them together for an extended route.

## Buying verdict

Ogutter’s two-piece set is suited to homeowners who want adjustable reach and a flexible route for directing rainwater from a gutter downspout. The 21-to-66-inch extension range, adapters for three listed downspout sizes, and connectable pipes make it useful for tailoring drainage to the placement of a home, yard, or garden area.
