Ogutter Rain Gutter Downspout Extension, Adjustable 21–66-Inch Metal, 2-Pack

Highlights

Made of metal, these Ogutter downspout extensions adjust from 21 to 66 inches to direct rainwater farther from a downspout. The two-pipe set gives you a pair of extensions for managing runoff at more than one location. Flexible pipes can be bent into the shape you need and are designed to hold that shape, helping route water around landscaping or toward a chosen drainage area.

Four adapters fit 2" x 3", 3" x 3", and 4" x 3" downspouts. Secure an adapter to the downspout with the included screws, then position the extension to guide water away from the house. Multiple drain pipes can also be connected by rotating them together, giving you another way to extend the drainage path. Buyers often highlight straightforward installation and useful water direction, feedback on sturdiness and value is more mixed.

Size & fit

Each extension can be adjusted between 21 and 66 inches, so you can choose a shorter reach near a planting bed or extend the outlet farther across the yard. The bendable design lets you shape the pipe around nearby features rather than relying on a fixed, straight route. This is useful when the best place for runoff is not directly in line with the downspout.

The included adapters are intended for 2" x 3", 3" x 3", and 4" x 3" downspouts. Choose the adapter that matches your downspout, then fasten it with the supplied screws to help keep the connection in place. If you need a longer route, the pipes can be joined by rotating them together. For a practical setup, position the outlet where you want water to flow before settling on the bend and extension length.

Best use cases

Use the extensions to guide roof runoff away from the area beside a foundation and toward a more suitable part of the yard. For example, if a downspout empties next to a walkway or garden bed, adjust the pipe and bend it toward an open drainage area. Its flexible shape is useful where a rigid, fixed-length extension would not follow the route you need.

The two-pack can serve two downspouts or provide two pipes for a drainage setup. It also suits situations where you want to direct water toward a rain barrel, buyers mention a useful fit on top of rain barrels. If your priority is a simple, unchanging straight outlet, a fixed extension offers a different approach. The Ogutter set is better suited to adjusting the reach and direction to fit the space.

Final verdict

For homeowners who need to control where roof runoff flows, this adjustable two-pack combines a 21-to-66-inch reach with bendable metal pipes and adapters for three common downspout sizes. It’s a practical choice when the drainage path needs to turn, reach a rain barrel, or carry water farther from the house than a fixed outlet allows.
