Its 2.4GHz wireless connection is designed for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, with support for PC and PS5 through the wireless adapter. Need game audio and phone audio at the same time? Bluetooth 5.3 can stay connected to a smartphone while the headset uses 2.4GHz for gaming. ## Key takeaways Virtual 7.1 spatial audio and 3D surround sound add directional cues to game audio, while selectable Game, Music, and Movie EQ modes let you switch the sound profile for different listening needs. The listed 20 ms low-latency audio is geared toward responsive play, and the 80-hour battery life supports extended sessions between charges. At 270 g, the headset is designed to feel light during longer gaming sessions, its rotating memory-foam earcups add a flexible fit. A directional microphone, passive background-noise reduction, and mic monitoring support clear team chat. Mic monitoring lets you hear your own voice in the headset and adjust how loudly you speak. Buyer feedback is positive about sound and comfort, while comments on microphone performance and PS5 connectivity are mixed. ## Best use cases This headset suits players who want wireless game audio and voice chat without giving up access to phone audio. For example, connect to a console over 2.4GHz and keep a smartphone paired over Bluetooth to hear alerts, music, or calls. The two wireless connections are intended to work simultaneously, so you can manage both sources without removing the headset. It also fits gaming sessions where spatial cues, adjustable EQ, and mic monitoring are useful. Players focused on using Bluetooth directly with a console should note the connection distinction: Bluetooth is for phones, laptops, and similar devices, while Xbox and PS5 connect through 2.4GHz. The microphone is not supported on Nintendo Switch. ## Getting the most from it For Xbox, switch the headset to 2.4GHz adapter mode and connect using the supplied USB dongle, then adjust audio settings on the console. Use the 2.4GHz connection for supported gaming devices, Bluetooth 5.3 provides a separate link to a compatible phone or laptop. This gives you a practical way to keep game sound and personal-device audio available together. Choose the Game, Music, or Movie EQ mode to suit what you are listening to. The mode can be changed with a double press of the mute button. Mic monitoring is useful when you want to hear your voice as you chat, and the directional mic is designed to focus on your speech. The headset cannot be used while charging, so plan charging between sessions. ## Questions before you buy **How does it connect to Xbox?** Switch to 2.4GHz adapter mode and use the supplied USB dongle. Bluetooth is not the connection method for Xbox. **Can it play phone audio while gaming?** Yes. The headset can use its 2.4GHz gaming connection while maintaining an active Bluetooth connection to a smartphone for alerts, music, or calls. **Does the microphone work with Nintendo Switch?** No. The microphone is not supported on Nintendo Switch. ## When it makes sense Choose the NUBWO HG04 if you want an over-ear wireless headset centered on Xbox gaming, with 2.4GHz audio, Bluetooth phone connectivity, spatial sound, mic monitoring, and a long listed playtime. Its dual-connection setup is especially useful for players who want game audio and smartphone access in one headset. ## Images ![NUBWO HG04 Wireless Gaming Headset, 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 5.3, 80-Hour Battery — 1](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/3GJ1TMWTbLz0nmahemHHHieHYHaBA6gMKElrB6SLgkv5sn2PRtOtywU6eA1dADcNdJjJrsGF2WQcbQ8OxZxWSpO5vV34oodlhWU4sWRDM1L7qkpBu_-Ch9TFyg.jpg) ![NUBWO HG04 Wireless Gaming Headset, 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 5.3, 80-Hour Battery — 2](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/IodhZhHQ3_oSxEWGI-xXuUeYrR-VEkO-CI1RzIUtG-dOIhVTio1EhgONNPLIaUhsmdSf-D8e5XnSx6Ih-v7Ev-6gtsdY66Z6obZju_6VVq1a4w9ydfpVVQQ6kw.jpg) ![NUBWO HG04 Wireless Gaming Headset, 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 5.3, 80-Hour Battery — 3](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/AAE69zV5hp0w9vUGXVfJMRUy6oa_GK9FEtDLJzLIP55BGvVD5-DY1Gw0zXBpfMnI_oY2jxHttktDOrnAmwDIFQJib0tL_Xh76czY-pkCBeWLKqOTEodYcQCtoA.jpg) ![NUBWO HG04 Wireless Gaming Headset, 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 5.3, 80-Hour Battery — 4](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/_Yk_PBJYTMSrVOEJDbTAnT75D3SXIyVLX6g_51vxbiT5sxtroboMnEwhVzLN21Bi7ftJAB4DwnHbjoqQ2CB39Tb3xrTrXHYGh-gKwTB7BMHSGQavnw3DX0BHdA.jpg) ![NUBWO HG04 Wireless Gaming Headset, 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 5.3, 80-Hour Battery — 5](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/yB8tUfbkuRIFXu9d9450zJ223QahX-bEIPqleCO3U9QjYaQdQ_Qrn3s7Qg_5yH8Pw9aZBEIiPdAhAVT50TUJA0N3gjZDqJSiJlY7Zfb0D7YAPTwkXIArei-20A.jpg)
