Technical details

The coloring is formulated for baking and designed to maintain its appearance through mixing and oven heat. Use it in recipes such as cake batter, buttercream, royal icing, cream cheese frosting, fondant, cookie dough, and macarons. The different shades also give you a starting palette for combining colors to suit a particular design or celebration.

Who it’s for

This set suits home bakers who want several colors on hand for decorating without relying on synthetic dyes. It can help bring a consistent color theme to birthday cakes, cookies, seasonal desserts, and other baking projects. The seven-shade selection is useful when a recipe calls for more than one color, while the ability to blend shades gives you room to create a custom tone instead of choosing from a single-color product.

It also works across different parts of a dessert: color cake batter, tint frosting for piping or spreading, or add color to fondant and cookie dough. Buyers give mixed feedback on shade intensity. Some like the colors and report good results in frosting, while others describe them as muted. Opinions on vial size also vary, so the set may appeal most when a compact assortment is more useful than stocking one color in a larger format.

What you get

The collection includes red, pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple liquid food coloring, with 6 mL per color. Having all seven in one assortment makes it easier to move between a simple two-color design and a full rainbow theme without building a palette from separate single-color bottles. Mix shades to create additional colors for a particular cake, batch of cookies, or frosting design.

Is it worth it?

For bakers looking for natural-source coloring in a ready-made rainbow assortment, the main benefit is having seven shades suited to both baking and decorating in one set. Its stated heat-stable formula is intended to keep color through oven baking, and the colors can also be used in frosting, fondant, and dough. If your projects call for multiple hues or you like blending custom shades, this set offers a practical palette for cakes, cookies, and festive treats.
