NIMO USB-C Charger 65W

GaN technology and 65W USB-C output give this charger enough power for more than a phone, while keeping the setup focused on one wall adapter.

It includes a 6.6-foot USB-C-to-USB-C cable, which can make a difference when the nearest outlet is behind a desk or beside a hotel bed.

If you prioritize charging one laptop or device with a longer cable, this setup makes sense, if you prefer several ports for charging multiple devices at once, look elsewhere.

Getting the most from it

Use the NIMO as a single-device charger: connect the included cable to its USB-C port and to a compatible device. Its 65W output and PD 3.0 and PPS support are intended for laptops, tablets, and phones, with examples in the listing including MacBook, iPad, iPhone, Samsung devices, and Steam Deck. Actual charging speed depends on the device and its charging requirements, so the wattage alone does not guarantee a particular charging time.

The extra cable length is useful in everyday situations, not just on trips. Picture working at a café table where the outlet sits near the floor: a longer lead can let the laptop stay on the table instead of pulling it toward the wall. The fixed prongs are another practical detail for outlets where a folding plug might feel loose, though they also mean the prongs do not fold away for packing.

Why it’s worth it

The appeal is having one 65W adapter for a laptop-sized charging need and smaller USB-C devices, rather than carrying a low-output phone brick that may not suit a laptop. GaN is the design choice behind its compact form, and PD 3.0/PPS support is intended to adjust power delivery for compatible devices. From the way it is set up, the main tradeoff is clear: one port keeps the charger simple, but it cannot charge a phone and laptop at the same time.

Worth considering if your routine is to charge one device at a time and you value extra reach from the outlet. Better avoided if you need multiple charging ports, a detachable cable, or a folding plug for a particularly compact travel kit. The listing also makes broad claims about temperature, safety, and charging speed, but gives no test conditions here, those claims are less useful for comparing chargers than the stated output, protocols, and included cable.

At a glance

• Output: 65W
• Port: One USB-C port
• Charging protocols: PD 3.0 and PPS
• Included cable: 6.6-foot USB-C-to-USB-C
• Design: GaN, with fixed prongs

Those details make it a straightforward choice for a single USB-C charging task at home, at work, or while traveling. Before choosing it for a laptop, check that the laptop charges over USB-C and that 65W suits its requirements, the product name alone does not establish that every model will charge at its preferred speed.

Final verdict

The NIMO is most compelling when the long cable and 65W single-port format match how you actually charge: one compatible device near an outlet that is not conveniently placed. It offers more reach than a short-cable setup and more output than a basic phone adapter, without the complexity of a multiport charger. Skip it if shared charging or plug-folding convenience matters more than that focused setup.
