## Description

## Technical details

Its 300 dpi thermal printing is the standout feature: small text and simple images should come out clearer than on a lower-resolution label maker. The D11 is compact and portable, and the included kit has three rolls: clear labels in 14 × 30 mm, white labels in 14 × 40 mm, and green labels in 12 × 40 mm.

Printing is monochrome, so labels use black text rather than color printing. The printer supports automatic calibration, prints at up to 40 mm/s, and can be shared by up to six mobile phones. Labels are fixed in length, and continuous label tape is not supported.

## What it works with

The D11 connects to a cell phone over Bluetooth through the NIIMBOT app or the compatible NIIM app. It is not compatible with computers or tablets, which makes the phone-based workflow an important part of the buying decision. The apps offer free templates for text, symbols, logos, barcodes, QR codes, images, and time.

That setup suits quick jobs such as labeling a pantry container, marking a school supply, or sorting small office items from your phone. The three included label colors also let you distinguish categories without needing color printing. It makes sense if you want a compact way to make short, pre-sized labels around the home, school, or a small business. You may want to skip it if you need computer-based printing, color output, or a continuous strip you can cut to a custom length.

## Usage tips

Start by choosing one of the included label rolls and selecting a matching template in the app. Automatic calibration is intended to prevent the first label from being wasted, which is useful when you only need a few labels for a drawer or a batch of supplies. Before printing a larger set, check that the selected roll and design suit the task, fixed-length labels leave less room for improvising than continuous tape.

The listed speed and multi-phone support may help when several people need access, but the printer still depends on a mobile Bluetooth connection and app workflow. For a desk-based setup, a printer that supports computers or tablets would be a better fit.

## Practical doubts

**Can it print in color?** No. It prints black text only, so the clear, white, and green rolls provide label options, not color ink output.

**Can I print from a laptop or tablet?** No. The stated connection is Bluetooth from a mobile phone using a compatible app, computers and tablets are not supported.

**Can I make a continuous label strip?** No. The labels are fixed in length, so this model is intended for individual pre-sized labels rather than continuous tape.

## Buying verdict

The NIIMBOT D11 is most compelling when portability and fast, phone-made labels matter more than flexible sizing. Its included rolls and template library give you a practical starting point for everyday organizing, while the 300 dpi resolution is a useful detail for labels with small text or simple graphics. The tradeoff is clear: this is a mobile-only, black-print label maker with fixed-length labels. Choose it for quick labeling around the house, school, or a small business, choose a more flexible printer if your work depends on a computer, color, or custom-length tape.
