Night Cat ZP-32-1P-AGN Pop-Up Tent for One, 2000 mm Waterproof

For solo campers who want a tent that opens without assembling poles, the Night Cat pop-up design is built for quick setup. Toss it onto the ground and spread the poles to open it in about three seconds. Its one-person layout includes a door and two windows for airflow. At 3.3 pounds, it’s also designed to be carried between outdoor stops.

Usage tips

Choose a level campsite, open the tent by spreading its poles, and secure it with the included stakes when needed. To pack it away, fold it into a figure eight and repeat the fold twice, practicing the motion helps make takedown more familiar. The folded package measures 21 x 21 x 2 inches, and hand and back straps make it easier to carry.

The door can be propped open with trekking poles or outdoor sticks to create a small shaded porch area. Those supports are not included, so bring your own if you plan to use this setup. For comfort in humid or rainy conditions, use the two windows to ventilate the interior when the weather allows. Airflow can help reduce condensation, which may form when warm, moist air meets a cooler tent wall.

Why it makes sense

This tent suits trips where a simple setup is a priority. Unlike a conventional tent that requires assembling its poles section by section, the pop-up design opens by spreading the frame, making it a practical format for a quick campsite stop or a beach outing. The compact folded dimensions and carry straps are useful when you need to move your gear on foot or fit it alongside other camping essentials.

Inside, the 7.7-foot length and 3.25-foot width provide a solo sleeping space with room alongside for some gear. The polyester floor and one-room design keep the layout straightforward, while the two windows and large door offer openings for ventilation. The 2000 mm water-resistance rating, coated fabric, and taped seams are relevant details for campers choosing a tent for outdoor use in wet conditions, pitch and secure it according to the conditions at your site.

Buyers often praise how quickly the tent pops open and how easy it is to carry. Feedback is more varied on interior space, folding, water resistance, and durability, so those impressions differ from person to person. The included stakes help secure the tent, while the pop-up frame is the main convenience for campers who prefer a fast setup over a more traditional pole-by-pole process.

Is it worth it?

The Night Cat ZP-32-1P-AGN is a practical choice for a solo camper looking for a lightweight pop-up tent with a fast opening method, carry straps, two windows, and a coated, taped-seam fabric. It’s especially well suited to short camping or hiking outings where quick pitching and a compact folded package are useful. If you want to create a shaded porch, bring trekking poles or suitable outdoor sticks to support the open door.
