NICETOWN NTUSCGMBR1OTD2 Outdoor Curtains, Waterproof Sage Polyester, 52 x 108 Inches
Product description
Waterproof polyester and a bottom-securing rope help these NICETOWN curtains add shade and privacy to an exposed patio or gazebo. The set includes two sage panels, each 52 inches wide by 108 inches long, with an opaque blackout fabric intended for outdoor spaces.
Grommets, back tabs, and rod pockets at the top and bottom offer more than one way to hang and anchor the panels. The product listing also describes them as windproof and says the fabric provides UV protection, those features make them relevant for a covered patio where sun and movement from breezes are concerns.

The listing states that the fabric blocks 99% of UVA/UVB rays and has UPF 50+ protection. It also describes a triple-weave thermal barrier and says shaded areas can be up to 12°F cooler than direct sun. Treat these as product claims rather than a guarantee of the conditions you will get in a particular outdoor setup. For buyers, the practical appeal is the combination of light blocking, privacy, and ways to secure the lower edge, rather than a lightweight decorative sheer.
What it works with
These panels are listed for gazebos, lanais, patios, pergolas, porches, balconies, decks, pool areas, cabanas, and beach houses. The grommets fit a rod size of 1.6 inches, and the back tabs and rod pockets provide alternative hanging methods. At 108 inches long, they suit spaces that need extra-long coverage, measure the opening and hanging height before choosing, especially if the curtain will sit close to the ground.
Usage tips
Use the included rope to help secure the lower edge when breezes could make loose fabric flap. The bottom grommets, back tabs, or rod pocket can also be used for anchoring, according to the listing. For a covered patio, a practical setup is to hang the panels across the open side, then secure the bottoms while leaving the curtains adjustable when shade or privacy is not needed.
Care instructions allow machine washing, with no bleach or soaking, the listing recommends low ironing and also says to wipe clean. Customer feedback often appreciates the dense fabric, sun blocking, and weight, but reports on durability are mixed. Some buyers say the curtains held up to storms, while others mention that they came apart. Fading is another reported concern, so these comments are worth weighing if the panels will be in strong sun for long periods.
When it makes sense
It’s a great fit if you want opaque, extra-long outdoor panels with several hanging options and a way to hold the bottoms in place. Compared with a basic decorative curtain, this set is geared toward privacy, shade, and more secure outdoor hanging. Better avoided if keeping the original color through extended sun exposure is a priority, since buyers have reported noticeable fading. Choose it for covered outdoor areas where blackout coverage and adjustable installation matter, while keeping those durability and color reports in mind.
