## Description

For a household where two cats eat on a schedule, an automatic feeder can take one recurring task off your hands while keeping both bowls in the same setup. The NEWBULIG feeder has a 6 L dry-food hopper, dual bowls, and a divider you can rotate to adjust how food is split. You set it directly on the panel rather than through an app, and it supports scheduled, manual, and slow feeding. That makes it worth looking at for routine kibble meals, though it is not designed for wet food.

## How to use it

Set meal times and portions on the feeder’s panel, then choose how food is distributed between the bowls. The schedule can cover up to 6 meals per day, with 1–50 portions per meal, each portion is listed as 1/10 cup. If one or both pets tend to eat too quickly, slow-feed mode spaces portions at intervals of up to 10 minutes. It’s a practical distinction from a basic gravity feeder, which keeps food available without scheduled portions.

Picture setting meals before leaving for the day: the dispenser can deliver kibble on schedule, and a recorded voice message of up to 10 seconds can play at mealtime. Would that replace checking on your pets? Not entirely, it helps automate feeding, but it does not provide remote app control or tell you whether a pet has eaten. The hopper holds about 25.3 cups, and the dispensing system is made for dry kibble measuring 0.20–0.71 inches (5–18 mm).

## Pros

- Two bowls and a rotatable divider let you adjust the food split for two pets.
- Panel-based controls avoid the need to set up an app.
- Manual, scheduled, and slow-feed modes suit different meal routines.
- Two detachable 304 stainless-steel bowls are easier to remove for cleaning than fixed bowls.
- A desiccant box is included to absorb excess moisture in the hopper.

Worth considering if you want timed portions for two cats and prefer on-device setup. It’s not for you if your pets eat wet food, need remote monitoring, or require feeding beyond the listed kibble size range. Without having tried it, the key practical question is whether both pets will reliably eat from adjacent bowls, the adjustable divider changes the split, but the description does not explain how each animal’s intake is tracked.

## Is it worth it?

This feeder makes the most sense when the goal is repeatable dry-food portions for two pets, with a larger hopper and no app-dependent setup. The battery option offers another way to power it, but the D-cell batteries are not included, and the feeder’s description does not claim that it can identify which pet ate from which bowl. Choose it for scheduled kibble meals and flexible portion splitting, choose a different feeding approach if you need wet-food dispensing, individual meal tracking, or app-based control.
