## Description

## What it is and what it solves
The Nekmit Dual Port USB C Wall Charger is a compact, 40W PD charging block designed to power up to two devices at once through USB-C. With GaN II technology, it stays slim enough to fit behind furniture or in tight spaces, while still delivering meaningful power for a MacBook Air when you’re using a single port and high-speed charging for phones and tablets when both ports are utilized.

## How it works in practice
Powered by dynamic power distribution, this charger adapts the 40W across both ports to balance speed and safety. If you’re charging a MacBook Air on one port, the other port can simultaneously fast-charge a phone or tablet. In real-world terms, you could have a phone charging quickly while your laptop gains power, instead of juggling multiple bulky bricks.

## What stands out
The standout here is the ultra-slim form factor combined with dual USB-C PD ports. GaN II enables a more compact footprint without sacrificing heat management. It’s particularly useful when you need to tuck a charger behind a bed, a nightstand, or a desk where space is at a premium.

## The trade-offs you should know
On paper, you get 40W total across two ports. That means full speed on one device when the other is drawing power, or a balanced split when two devices are connected. If you’re power-hungry on both ports at once (for example, a large laptop plus a fast-charging phone simultaneously), you might not hit the maximum possible speed on both, the practical result is efficient dual-port charging rather than two devices at peak theoretical wattage.

## Who it’s for
This charger is a solid fit for anyone who values a minimal desktop footprint but still wants reasonable dual-device versatility. It works well for iPhone 17/16/15 series, Samsung Galaxy S series, tablets, AirPods, Nintendo Switch, and similar devices. If your setup involves a MacBook Air or an iPhone in daily use alongside a second device, this block can simplify your cable collection.

## Who it’s not ideal for
If you absolutely need peak, continuous power on two devices at once (for example, gaming-grade laptop plus a tablet at full speed), you may benefit from a higher-wattage or more traditional multi-port charger. Also, if you require multi-port power for more than two devices, this single-block solution won’t cover that need.

## When it makes sense to buy
Consider this charger when you want a slim, dual-port solution that covers most mainstream devices with rapid PD charging. It’s handy for travel, bedrooms, or compact workspaces where a bigger charger would be awkward.

## What to check before buying
- Ensure your primary use case aligns with dual PD charging rather than needing maximum simultaneous speed on two very power-hungry devices.
- Look at the size and whether a GaN II design fits your space constraints.
- Verify compatibility with your devices’ USB-C PD requirements to ensure the charger’s distribution meets expectations in real-world use.

## Practical usage scenario
Imagine charging your MacBook Air for a fast 30–60 minutes of work, while your phone drenches in a quick 60% charge within the same block. You keep a single, slim brick plugged in behind a nightstand rather than wrestling with two larger adapters.

## How this compares to alternatives
If you’re choosing between compact dual-port PD chargers, this Nekmit option emphasizes a slim GaN II design and balanced two-port charging. It’s less about boasting the highest total wattage and more about portable convenience and real-world dual-device usability, which can be preferable for users prioritizing space, cable management, and everyday speed.

## FAQ
- How many devices can it charge at once? Two USB-C devices via PD ports.
- Will it charge a MacBook Air at full speed? It can deliver up to 40W total, when using one port for a MacBook Air, you’ll get strong charging, and the other port supports a fast charge for a second device.
- Is it compatible with iPhone and Galaxy phones? Yes, it lists compatibility with iPhone 17/16/15 series, Samsung Galaxy S series, tablets, and more.

## Is it worth it?
Worth considering if you value a slim, dual-port PD charger that balances speed with space savings. It may not be the best choice if you need peak two-device performance at maximum wattage for power-hungry setups, but for most daily use cases it provides a pragmatic, space-conscious charging solution.
