## Description

This compact teleprompter from Neewer is built for creators who need a simple setup that works straight away, offering a liftable platform and easy readability for speaking on camera. It helps presenters maintain eye contact while reading scripts, making it useful for online teaching, live streaming and tutorial recording.

## What matters most
The NEEWER X12B focuses on core functionality and user friendliness, with an installation free design that removes setup friction. The aluminum alloy frame keeps the mount lightweight yet sturdy, and the flip open, foldable structure means it packs flat into the included carry case for transport and storage. Ten feet of readable distance is possible for many users, according to the manufacturer.

## Tech specs
- Name: **NEEWER X12B Aluminum Alloy Liftable Teleprompter 12"**
- Compatibility: iOS 11.0 and Android 6.0 or later
- What’s included: remote control and carry case
- Format: 12" HD display reflection
- Material: Aluminum alloy

## Why it’s worth it
The teleprompter reflects text from a tablet using a high quality beam splitter glass with about 75% light transmittance, so on-camera sightlines stay natural while reading. The RT113 remote pairs via Bluetooth to control play, pause, scroll speed and font size, which keeps the presenter hands free and focused. Keep in mind that the product is not intended for phone shooting and works with tablets and iPads.

## Usage tips
Pair the RT113 remote with the NEEWER Teleprompter App on your tablet for the smoothest control, set font size and scroll speed before recording, and position the liftable platform so the lens is centered. For longer distance setups position the tablet brightness higher and test the read distance in your recording space.

## What it works with
**NEEWER X12B** works with most tablets and iPads that fit the 12" reflection size and support the app, and it accepts DSLR cameras mounted behind the glass for a centered lens alignment. You’ll appreciate the low weight for travel and the tool free assembly for quick shoots, though if you need phone-only shooting this unit is not suitable.
