## Description

This camera tripod from NEEWER combines a tall adjustable profile with horizontal overhead capabilities for creators who need flexible framing for video, vlogs, events and landscape photography. It offers a rotating center column and a 360° ball head that allow panoramic shots and extreme angles, making it useful for low-angle action, wedding coverage and urban scenes.

## Key Points

The tripod converts quickly between full tripod and monopod configurations, giving more options when space is limited. According to the manufacturer the center column supports horizontal positioning for overhead shots and rotates 360 degrees while the ball head tilts up to 120 degrees for vertical framing. Folded legs reduce the packed length so carrying and outdoor travel are more convenient.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **NEEWER TP63 90 Inch Tripod**
- Maximum height: 90.6 inches (230 cm)
- Minimum height: 25.2 inches (64 cm)
- Folded length: 21 inches (53 cm)

- Monopod height range: 22.2 inches (56.5 cm) to 94.5 inches (240 cm)
- QR plate type: Arca-style 1/4" compatible

## Usage Recommendations

Use the removable leg tube as a monopod when shooting in crowded venues or narrow paths, and attach the foam grip for more comfortable handheld support during long sessions. The inverted legs and compact fold make it straightforward to stow the tripod in a backpack for travel or to clip it to gear when hiking. For stable long exposures outdoors, hang a weight from the included hook to increase steadiness, noting that the hook accepts sandbags or similar ballast which are not included.

## Practical Tips

When switching to horizontal overhead mode, double-check the locking knobs on the center column and the ball head to avoid sudden shifts with heavier gear. The Arca-type quick release plate simplifies changing cameras and is compatible with many mirrorless and DSLR models from major brands. Consider the tripod’s metal alloy build as a balance between portability and robustness, remembering that very heavy pro rigs beyond the stated load may exceed its limits according to the manufacturer.
