Nanit baby monitor with 1080p camera
Product description
Key specifications
The 1080p Pro Camera gives you a live nursery view in day or night, with two-way audio for checking in through the app. Temperature and humidity readings, sleep tracking, video history, and real-time notifications add context beyond a basic video feed.
The camera pairs with an adjustable Floor Stand for an overhead crib or bassinet view. For trips, it detaches and fits the Flex Stand, so the same camera can be set up in a hotel room or at a relative’s home.
The system uses the Nanit app and requires a secure 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Video is protected with 256-bit encryption. On the spec sheet, the feature list is broad, but access to full features requires an Insights Plan subscription.
Who it’s for
This bundle is aimed at parents who want one camera setup for the nursery and occasional travel, rather than buying a separate monitor for each location. Picture checking the crib from your phone at home, then packing the camera and Flex Stand for a weekend away. The travel case is intended to make that change of setup easier.
It also suits households that want app-based alerts and sleep information alongside video and two-way audio. Compatible access includes iOS and Android devices, Alexa, and Apple Watch. A simpler audio monitor may be enough if you only need sound, this system makes more sense when video and app features are part of the plan.
A solid pick if you value a dedicated nursery stand and a portable mounting option in one bundle. You may want to skip it if you don’t have access to a secure 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network or would rather avoid a subscription for full app features.
Included in the package
The bundle contains the Nanit Pro Camera and companion app, Floor Stand, Flex Stand, and a custom-molded travel case. It also comes with a three-month free trial of the Sleep Plan. The Floor Stand reaches up to 67 inches tall and has a 12-inch-wide base, an ASTM-certified cord cover is included for use near the crib.
That combination favors a camera you can reposition over a compact, standalone monitor with fewer setup options. The tradeoff is that moving the camera between stands takes a little more involvement than leaving a fixed nursery unit in place. HSA/FSA eligibility is also listed for the bundle.
Practical doubts
What Wi-Fi does the camera require? It requires a secure 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The travel stand changes where you mount the camera, not that network requirement.
Does the bundle include the stands and travel case? Yes. It includes the Floor Stand, Flex Stand, and custom-molded Nanit Travel Case, as well as the Pro Camera.
Are all app features available without a plan? The product information says an Insights Plan is needed to unlock full features. The included three-month Sleep Plan trial gives you a way to try that plan, but the listing does not detail what remains available after the trial.
Should you buy it?
Choose this Nanit bundle if you want an overhead nursery camera that can also be mounted for travel, and you’re comfortable with Wi-Fi and plan-dependent app features. Its strongest practical advantage is having both stands and the travel case together. If you need a monitor that works independently of a phone app or network, or want the full insight package without an ongoing plan, this setup is a less natural fit.
