## Description

For a desk chair that rolls over carpet or a hard floor, the MYSUNORIA glass chair mat creates a clear, smooth surface beneath the chair. Its 46" x 60" rectangular format gives the chair a protective area while allowing the carpet or flooring to remain visible through the transparent glass.

Made from 0.19-inch-thick tempered glass, the mat has a stated weight capacity of up to 1,000 pounds. Integrated nonslip pads help keep it in place, and the smooth surface is designed for quiet chair movement. It suits a home office, study, gaming room, or other workspace where you want a defined rolling area without covering the floor’s appearance.

## Worth noting

The rigid glass construction offers a different approach from a flexible chair mat: instead of a pliable surface, it provides a firm, continuous platform under the chair. That can be useful over carpet, where the mat is designed to help prevent chair wheels from sinking and leaving indentations. On hardwood, laminate, or tile, it acts as a protective layer against scratches from chair movement. Its clear finish lets the underlying floor remain part of the room’s look.

The 46" x 60" size gives the chair space to move within the mat’s footprint, while the rectangular shape fits naturally beneath many desk setups. Buyers deciding between a see-through rigid protector and a flexible floor covering may prefer this format when keeping the floor visible and providing a smooth rolling surface are priorities. Customer feedback also highlights easy chair movement and a mat that stays in place, some buyers describe it as very heavy, so plan its placement with that in mind.

## Maintenance

The nonporous glass surface resists dust and stains, and routine care is straightforward: wipe it with a damp cloth. This keeps the transparent surface clear without requiring a specialized cleaning routine. For day-to-day use, the glass finish also offers an easy-to-wipe surface beneath a desk chair, where dust and marks can otherwise collect around a workspace.

## How to use it

Place the mat in the chair’s working area on carpet or a hard floor, then roll the chair across its smooth surface. On carpet, its firm structure creates a more stable rolling platform than the carpet itself, on hardwood, laminate, or tile, the glass forms a barrier between chair movement and the floor. The built-in pads are intended to help keep the mat positioned during use.

It can serve as a desk-chair surface in a home office or study, or define the chair area in a gaming room or living space. Because the mat is transparent, it can protect the floor without visually hiding its color or pattern. Its single-piece construction keeps the rolling area seamless, rather than divided into separate sections.

## When it makes sense

This mat makes sense for a workspace where chair movement and floor protection both matter, whether the chair sits on carpet or a hard surface. Choose it when you want a clear, rigid platform with a substantial 46" x 60" footprint and a stated 1,000-pound capacity. The tempered-glass construction, smooth rolling surface, and transparent design bring together practical chair movement and a visible floor—an especially useful combination for a home office or study that should remain neat without hiding its flooring.
