MUID Slug Night Light, Soft Silicone Lamp with Warm LED and 15-Minute Shutoff

For a quiet nursery feeding or a quick check-in at bedtime, the MUID Slug Night Light adds a gentle glow without the feel of a conventional room lamp. Its warm LED light is designed for nighttime use, and the playful slug shape brings a friendly accent to a bedside table.

The soft silicone shade is squeezable and easy to carry, so the lamp can also serve as a tactile little companion in a child’s room. Its compact size makes it suited to a bedside or nursery surface while keeping the characterful design in view.

If you need broad, bright room lighting, a standard table lamp serves a different purpose. This night light is for a softer bedside glow and a more playful look, with a timed shutoff to support a simple bedtime routine.

Worth noting

The lamp uses a 2800K warm-color light source, a tone chosen for evening use. A 15-minute delay shutoff turns the light off after the timer period, which can be useful when settling down for sleep or during a brief nighttime routine. The soft silicone shade is BPA-free and designed to be kneaded and return to its shape, giving the slug its squishy feel as well as making it easier to carry.

Its matte finish and small footprint suit nightstands, nursery furniture, dorm rooms, or a desk where a softer accent light is welcome. The listed dimensions are 4.88 inches deep, 3 inches wide, and 4.33 inches high. The base is plastic, paired with the silicone shade.

Usage tips

Place the lamp on a nearby bedside surface to keep its warm light within reach during bedtime or a nursery feed. The 15-minute shutoff is useful when you want light for a short routine without leaving it on all night. For a child’s room, the soft, squeezable slug design gives the lamp a playful presence alongside its practical role as a night light.

The shade is described as water-resistant and drop-resistant, and its flexible silicone makes it easier to carry between suitable indoor spaces. Keep the lamp on a stable surface when using it as a bedside light, and use its warm glow as an accent for close-by nighttime tasks rather than as general room lighting.

Getting the most from it

Make the lamp part of a consistent evening setup: position it beside the bed, turn it on when winding down, and let the timed shutoff handle the end of a short reading or settling-in period. In a nursery, its warm-colored light can provide a softer-feeling option for nighttime care than switching on a brighter main lamp. In a dorm room or office, the slug shape adds a lighthearted decorative touch while the lamp remains useful after dark.

The design also makes the night light a distinctive gift for children or friends. It suits occasions such as birthdays, holidays, or a child’s room refresh, especially when a gift that combines a playful animal shape with a practical bedside function is the goal.

When it makes sense

Choose this MUID lamp when you want a small bedside light with a warm glow, an easy-to-carry silicone shade, and a 15-minute shutoff in one playful design. It’s a great fit if you’re setting up a child’s bedroom or nursery, or looking for a distinctive night light for a dorm or desk. The slug shape and squeezable shade make it more characterful than a plain night light, while its compact dimensions help it sit neatly on a bedside surface.
