If you want a simple way to keep tabs on bags and everyday essentials, these tags are built around Apple’s Find My network. They suit people already using an iPhone or iPad, Android users will need a different kind of tracker.

The pack includes one black tag and one white tag, so you can assign them to separate items, such as a suitcase and a backpack.

If you prioritize finding items through Apple’s Find My app, this setup may fit, if you prefer a tracker that works with Android, it won’t.

Where it shines

These compact finders can be attached to keys, luggage, backpacks, purses, and travel bags. For a practical example, attach one to a suitcase before a trip and use Find My to check its location when you need to keep track of your belongings. If the item is nearby, the app can also play a sound up to approximately 70 dB in an open environment.

The owner can share each tag with up to five additional people through Find My, which can help when several trusted family members need to see an item’s location. Sharing requires an Apple ID, iCloud sign-in, and an iPhone or iPad running iOS 14.5 or iPadOS 14.5 or later. The trackers are MFi certified, require no additional app, and have no monthly fee. Separation notifications may be available, but depend on Find My settings, distance, and network conditions.

What matters most

This is an iOS-only purchase, not a universal Bluetooth finder: it is not compatible with Android. The tag measures approximately 1.22 × 1.22 × 0.38 inches, and each uses a replaceable CR2032 battery. That makes battery replacement possible without replacing the whole tracker, though the coin or flat tool needed to open it is not included.

Water protection also needs a closer look. The tag itself is not water-resistant, the stated IP67 protection applies only with the included silicone holder correctly and fully installed. That can help with everyday rain, splashes, and moisture, but the instructions say not to submerge it or leave it exposed to water for extended periods. Worth considering if you want a shared Find My tracker for bags and keys, but the holder’s fit matters for the protection claim.

Maintenance

Battery life is listed at about 5–8 months depending on use, with frequent use potentially bringing replacement to around 3 months. To change it, use a coin or similar flat tool to turn the cover 45° clockwise toward “Open,” install a CR2032, then turn it 45° counterclockwise toward “Close” until locked. Keep the silicone holder fully installed if you’re relying on its water and dust protection.

It’s not for you if you need Android support, a tracker that can be submerged, or a stated battery life independent of how often it’s used. Those are meaningful limits for a travel accessory, not minor details to overlook.

Should you buy it?

Choose this two-pack if you use Apple devices and want two everyday items to appear in Find My, with the option to share access and replace the batteries. It makes more sense than a basic tag without family sharing when multiple people need to track the same belongings. If you need cross-platform support or tougher water exposure, look for a tracker designed for those needs instead.
