## Description

## Everyday use

In a 12-packet format, Mrs. Wages Bread and Butter Pickles Refrigerator Mix makes it easy to prepare sweet-and-tangy refrigerator pickles at home. Each 1.94 oz packet makes 4 pints, giving you a measured mix for a batch to serve with burgers, barbecue, or as a snack on its own. The pickles are ready to eat within 24 hours of preparation, so you can plan a batch around a meal without a long wait.

For quick refrigerator pickles, prepare the mix and store the finished jars in the refrigerator, a boiling water bath is not needed. If your goal is shelf-stable pickles instead, the product directions call for boiling water bath processing. That distinction makes this mix useful when you want to choose between a refrigerator batch for near-term meals and a processed batch for shelf storage.

## Strengths

The mix is designed for refrigerator pickles, simplifying the process when you want a homemade batch without water bath processing. Its sweet-and-tangy flavor suits classic pairings such as burgers and barbecue, and the prepared pickles can also be served as a snack or used in other dishes. The manufacturer also suggests exploring pickled vegetables, okra, and relish, so the mix can support more than one kind of homemade pickle project.

The 12-packet pack gives you separate portions for multiple batches, while the stated yield of 4 pints per packet helps you plan how much to prepare. Buyers often praise the taste and ease of use, making this a practical choice for cooks who want a straightforward way to make refrigerator pickles at home. It’s a great fit if you prefer to prepare pickles in batches and serve them with everyday meals rather than rely on ready-made pickles.

## Should you buy it?

Choose Mrs. Wages Bread and Butter Refrigerator Mix when you want to make sweet-and-tangy pickles at home with a defined yield and a short wait before serving. The refrigerator method works well for batches intended for burgers, barbecue, snacks, and other meals, while the option to use boiling water bath processing serves a different need: making shelf-stable pickles.
