## Description

Some cooks want a salsa seasoning that lets fresh tomatoes and personal preferences shape the batch, others prioritize a familiar, medium-heat flavor with less guesswork. Mrs. Wages Medium Salsa Canning Mix offers a ready-to-use blend of vegetables and spices for homemade salsa with a moderate kick.

The pack contains six 4-ounce pouches, giving home cooks a practical way to season multiple batches with the same mix.

## Key features
The medium-heat blend brings together onion, green bell pepper, jalapeño pepper, and chili pepper. It adds a little heat without making the salsa the hottest part of the meal, while letting the tomatoes and other chosen ingredients remain part of the recipe. Use it with fresh ingredients or add it to a cooked salsa recipe.

Each pouch is described as making 5 pints, which is useful when working through a garden tomato harvest or preparing several batches for later. The mix is Kosher certified and contains no artificial colors or flavors.

## Everyday use
Choose this mix when you want to make salsa around your own tomatoes rather than select a finished flavor and texture in advance. The blend provides the seasoning, while the fresh ingredients give you room to customize the batch. It can suit a small salsa-making session for a meal or a larger round of cooking for canning or freezing.

Customer feedback highlights the medium spice level, flexible use, and easy-to-follow instructions. Buyers also describe enjoying the results, these are individual impressions, while the mix itself provides a consistent ingredient blend to start from.

## Usage tips
Add the mix to fresh ingredients or to a cooked salsa recipe, following the product directions. For serving, refrigerate the salsa for at least 30 minutes first. If preparing salsa for later, it can be frozen in a freezer-safe container for up to a year.

For canning, the product description identifies a hot-water-bath process. Before starting, familiarize yourself with the canning process, equipment, and ingredients, the description also notes a boiling-water-bath method for quick-process recipes. These steps help you choose the preparation method that suits the batch you are making.

## Practical questions
**How much salsa does one pouch make?** Each 4-ounce pouch is described as making 5 pints, so the six-pouch pack is suited to preparing multiple batches.

**How spicy is the mix?** It is a medium-heat blend, intended to add a noticeable but moderate kick. Its vegetable and pepper ingredients include jalapeño and chili peppers.

**Can I serve or store the salsa after mixing?** Refrigerate it for at least 30 minutes before serving. For longer storage, the product description says it can be frozen in a freezer-safe container for up to a year or canned using a hot-water-bath process.

## Final verdict
For cooks who want homemade salsa with a medium level of heat and flexibility over the tomato base, Mrs. Wages makes the seasoning step straightforward. The six pouches and stated 5-pint yield per pouch make this pack especially useful for repeated batches, including seasonal tomato preparation.
