## Description

Give a crate or kennel a soft resting surface with the Moonsea dog mat. Its rectangular 36 x 23-inch size is made for kennel and crate use.

The three-layer design pairs a polyester top with a soft, breathable middle layer and a knitted polyester underside with an anti-slip silicone backing.

A black star print adds a decorative touch, while machine-washable care makes routine cleanup straightforward. The mat can also be used on hardwood floors or to help protect furniture and car seats from dirt and fur.

## Tech summary
The top and cover are polyester, with polyester fiber listed as the fill material. A soft, high-density middle layer adds cushioning, and the silicone anti-slip backing helps keep the mat from shifting during everyday use. Its rectangular shape and 36 x 23-inch dimensions make it easy to compare with the floor area of a crate or kennel before choosing a spot for it.

The star pattern gives the mat a finished look without changing its practical role as a resting pad. Compared with a bare crate floor, it provides a soft, breathable layer, compared with a larger standalone dog bed, its defined mat shape is suited to crate and kennel setups. Buyers often praise the appearance and ease of washing, and some say their pets take to the mat. Feedback on thickness, padding, and durability is mixed, so it is best viewed as a washable crate pad rather than a heavily cushioned bed.

## Everyday compatibility
Use it in a kennel or crate, or place it on a hardwood floor as a designated rest spot. The 36 x 23-inch footprint is the key fit detail: compare it with the available floor space so the pad sits where your dog settles. The non-skid underside is designed to reduce shifting, which is useful when the mat is placed directly on a smooth floor.

The star-print surface also works as a simple way to add a patterned layer to a pet’s resting area. If you want a crate-specific mat that can be moved between the kennel and other household spots, this rectangular format keeps that setup uncomplicated.

## Usage tips
For a crate, lay the mat flat across the resting area and position it so your dog has room to settle comfortably. On a hardwood floor, place it where the dog already rests to create a soft, defined spot. Its polyester construction and machine-washable care instructions make it practical for regular use in places where dirt and fur collect.

Follow the machine-wash care instruction when cleaning, then return the mat to the crate or resting area once ready. Buyers appreciate that it is easy to wash, comments about padding and thickness vary, so consider the intended role when choosing it: a soft, washable layer for everyday resting.

## Before you decide
What size is the mat? It measures 36 x 23 inches and has a rectangular shape. Compare those dimensions with the crate floor or the area where you plan to use it.

How do you clean it? The mat is machine washable, making it suitable for a regular care routine. Its polyester surface and cover are designed for this washable format.

Does the underside help keep it in place? Yes. The knitted polyester underside has an anti-slip silicone backing intended to reduce movement on surfaces such as hardwood floors.

## Buying verdict
Choose the Moonsea mat for a crate or kennel that needs a soft, washable resting layer with a star pattern and an anti-slip backing. Its 36 x 23-inch footprint, polyester construction, and straightforward machine-wash care suit everyday pet spaces where an easy-to-place pad is more useful than a full-size standalone bed.
