## Description

This softshell vest for women balances light insulation and weather protection, ideal for outdoor workouts and layered cold-weather outfits. It has a fleece inner layer that keeps warmth without heavy bulk, making it practical for running, hiking, and everyday use.

## Key Points

The vest is windproof and water-repellent on the outer shell while the cozy fleece lining retains heat for comfort during active movement. It includes a high collar and an adjustable hem drawcord to limit drafts and customize the fit. There are two external zip pockets and two internal pockets that allow secure storage of small essentials like keys, phone, or cards while you move. 🏃♀️

This piece is intentionally lightweight at the measurement reported for size S, so it functions well as a mid layer under a heavier coat or as a standalone outer layer on milder days. The sleeveless cut keeps arms free for full range of motion, which is useful for cycling, trail work, or layered commuting.

## Benefits

The vest offers a balance between protection and mobility, with a design that supports aerobic activities and travel without excess bulk. The soft inner fleece provides a comfortable feel against the skin and helps trap warmth around the torso. The high neck gives extra coverage when zipped up, and the adjustable hem reduces heat loss through the waist. For those who carry valuables during exercise, the combination of external zipped pockets and interior pockets adds security and convenience. 🌦️

A nuance to consider is that the stated weight of 350 g applies to size S according to the manufacturer, so weight will vary with larger sizes. Also, while the fabric repels light precipitation and blocks wind effectively, heavy rain will require a fully waterproof outer shell.
