## Description

Some Halloween displays need a simple way to add color outdoors without running a power cord across the yard. These Moettany solar string lights pair orange and purple LEDs with automatic dusk-to-dawn operation. Would a solar-powered setup suit your garden, fence, or pathway? The 45-foot string gives you room to decorate outdoor spaces with a seasonal glow.

## Strengths

The orange-and-purple color combination brings a clear Halloween theme to garden edges, fences, yards, and pathways. With 100 LEDs across two 50-LED strings, the set can add color along a longer boundary or let you decorate two nearby areas. Its eight lighting modes include a twinkling option, giving you a choice of effect for the display.

Solar power means the lights do not need to connect to an outlet. The system automatically turns on at night and off at dawn, so the display can follow the day-night cycle without manual switching each evening. Both the string lights and solar panel are described as waterproof, and the lights are intended for outdoor use. That makes them a practical fit for seasonal decorations exposed to outdoor weather.

## Quick overview

- Type: Solar-powered outdoor string lights
- Color: Orange and purple
- Lighting: 100 LEDs, 8 modes, button control
- Length: 45 ft
- Pack: 2 strings, 50 LEDs each
- Operation: Automatic on at night and off at dawn
- Charging and lighting: 6–8 hours of charging can support 8–10 hours of illumination

## Practical tips

For a ground installation, connect the plug-in rod to the solar panel and place it where the panel faces the sun. Choose a position clear of flowers and other obstructions so the panel can receive sunlight. For a second-floor balcony installation, the product description notes that the panel can be mounted to a wall using the provided screws.

Before first use, remove the thin film from the solar panel, cover the panel, and turn on the switch to check that the lights illuminate. After installation, leave the switch on for automatic operation. These steps help set up the solar panel and lighting system for its intended day-to-night cycle.

## Practical questions

**How do the lights turn on and off?** The solar lights turn on automatically at night and switch off at dawn. Keep the switch on after installation for this automatic operation.

**How much light time can the set provide?** The stated charging time is 6–8 hours, which can support 8–10 hours of illumination. Actual setup should place the panel facing the sun and away from obstructions.

**Can the lights be installed on a balcony?** The solar panel can be mounted on a wall using the provided screws. For a ground setup, attach the plug-in rod and place the panel in a sunny, unobstructed location.

## Buying verdict

This set suits Halloween decorating that calls for solar-powered color across an outdoor area, rather than a display centered on a single plug-in light. The 45-foot length, two orange-and-purple strings, eight modes, and automatic night operation give you practical ways to dress a fence, garden, yard, or pathway. Choose it when you want a seasonal outdoor accent that uses a solar panel and follows the evening-to-dawn cycle.
