## Description

Players looking for physical controls on an iPhone or Android phone can pair the Mocagen MC1 over Bluetooth. Want a more familiar stick-and-button setup for mobile games? Its ergonomic grip, Hall-effect joysticks, and customizable controls bring that format to compatible games. The portable design also suits gaming on the go.

## Technical details
- Type: Bluetooth mobile game controller
- Joysticks: Hall-effect, with a stated 5-million-cycle lifespan
- Battery: 600mAh, up to 6 hours in brightness mode
- Phone fit: Up to 175mm long, supports cases up to 0.47 inches (12mm) thick
- Controls: Three-level Turbo, dual vibration motors, and a 7-color adjustable joystick light ring
- Customization: KeyLinker app

The ergonomic handles feature a textured grip for added hold during play. A recessed area on the left side accommodates the phone camera, while the Turbo function can repeat a button input at 5, 12, or 20 presses per second. Vibration intensity can be adjusted in the KeyLinker app, and the ABXY button lights can be turned off.

## What it works with
The MC1 connects to iPhone and Android phones through Bluetooth. It supports games with controller input, including native mobile games, cloud gaming services such as Xbox Game Pass and GeForce NOW, Xbox Remote Play, and emulator games. Compatibility depends on the game supporting a controller, PS Remote Play is not supported.

For first-time pairing, turn on Bluetooth, hold the controller’s Home button for three seconds until the fourth LED flashes, then select “XBOX Wireless Controller” on the phone. After pairing, a press of the Home button reconnects it when Bluetooth is on. The phone can remain in a case up to the supported thickness, making the controller practical for a gaming session away from a desk. Buyers praise the setup and responsive controls, while feedback on connectivity, battery life, and button sensitivity is mixed.

## Getting the most from it
Use the MC1 when touchscreen input feels less natural for a game built around sticks and buttons. For example, it can turn a phone into a more console-style setup for a compatible game during a trip or a break. Its compact, phone-mounted format keeps the screen and controls together, while the grip gives each hand a dedicated hold.

Turbo is useful for games that call for repeated input from one button, such as rapid-fire action or moving through dialogue. Choose among its three speeds to suit the game, and adjust vibration through KeyLinker if you want to tailor that feedback. The joystick lighting adds a customizable visual detail, with seven color options for the joystick ring.

## Final verdict
The Mocagen MC1 is suited to mobile players who want Bluetooth controls, Hall-effect joysticks, and a comfortable grip in a phone-friendly format. Its case clearance, Turbo settings, and support for compatible native, cloud, and remote-play games make it a practical companion for gaming at home or on the go.
