## Description

Cover an outdoor shrub, fruit tree, or potted plant when cold weather is on the way with the MIXC PC-2 plant covers. Each reusable blanket measures 31.4" x 39.3" and has a drawstring opening to help secure it around the plant.

The nonwoven fabric allows air and moisture to reach the plant while transmitting 40%–60% of light. That makes these covers useful beyond a single cold night, including for extending the growing season in spring and fall.

Need a cover that can stay in place through changing weather? The drawstring design means there is no need to remove the cover each morning and replace it each evening, according to the product information.

## Everyday compatibility

The listed fit range helps when choosing a cover for a shrub, fruit tree, or potted plant: the intended plant size is 30"–39" high and 52"–62" around. For instance, a potted citrus tree on a patio can be covered ahead of a frost, with the drawstring gathered around the opening to hold the blanket in place.

The fabric is designed to let air and moisture reach the plant, while its light transmission supports use during spring and fall as well as winter protection. The covers are also described for shielding plants from snow and hail, and from insects and birds during the growing season. Compared with a routine of putting a cover on at night and taking it off each morning, this reusable design is made to remain over the plant as conditions change.

Buyer feedback often highlights that the covers are easy to put on and take off. Opinions on fit vary, so the listed height and around measurements are useful when selecting which plants to cover. Reports of frost protection also vary, making the stated 3°–8°F protection range a practical reference when planning for cold weather.

## Practical tips

Measure the plant’s height and its circumference around the foliage, then compare those measurements with the stated fit range before use. Position the cover over the plant and use the drawstring opening to gather it around the base. This keeps the setup focused on the plant’s actual shape rather than relying on the cover’s flat dimensions alone.

For seasonal use, the breathable nonwoven fabric and 40%–60% light transmittance are relevant details when deciding whether to leave a cover in place. The product is intended for reusable protection across winter conditions and for extending the growing season in spring and fall. Its stated freeze protection is 3°–8°F, so keep that range in mind when planning around expected temperatures.

## Final verdict

The MIXC PC-2 two-pack suits gardeners who want reusable covers for outdoor shrubs, fruit trees, or potted plants within the stated size range. Its drawstring opening makes placement straightforward, while the fabric’s air and moisture permeability and light transmission support practical seasonal use. Choose it for targeted frost and weather protection without a daily cover-on, cover-off routine.
