## Description

Block access to a doorway, hallway, or stairway while keeping the barrier easy to retract when the space needs to stay open. The Miumoon CB328 uses reinforced mesh and a 100-inch-wide design to create a broad indoor or outdoor boundary for young children and small to medium pets.

Its mesh retracts out of the way when not in use, while the bottom-bar-free design keeps the floor crossing clear. Choose this style when flexible access and a less obstructive barrier matter more than leaving a rigid gate in place.

## Worth noting

Fiber rods reinforce the top and bottom of the mesh to help it hold its shape and reduce openings where a child or pet might try to crawl through. The soft mesh offers a gentler surface around play areas, and the lack of a bottom bar avoids a raised threshold across the floor. A double-lock requires pressing and turning to open or close, with operation designed for adults to manage one-handed.

The gate measures 100 inches wide by 42 inches tall. It is intended for children from 6 to 24 months and small to medium pets weighing 10 to 40 pounds. Buyers often highlight the straightforward installation and everyday usefulness for keeping children or pets out of selected rooms. Feedback on sturdiness, stability, and the lock is mixed, so careful installation and engaging the lock as intended are important parts of using it.

## How it fits

Use it to separate a play area from a hallway, close off a doorway, or create a boundary near a stairway. The wide retractable format suits openings where a conventional fixed gate would remain in the way, retracting the mesh lets the passage open when the barrier is not needed. It can be mounted at the top or bottom of stairways and at doorways or hallways, indoors or outdoors.

This is a hardware-mounted gate and installation requires drilling. The package includes the retractable mesh gate, floor hooks, brackets, latches, wall anchors, screws, and instructions. Measure the opening before choosing the gate, and follow the installation instructions to position it close to the floor.

## Tips for day-to-day use

Keep the mesh drawn across the opening when you need a boundary, then retract it to clear the passage. Press and turn the double-lock to operate the latch, and confirm it is engaged before leaving a child or pet on the other side. The reinforced strips are designed to support the mesh as it extends and retracts, while the clear floor crossing makes it practical in busy walkways where a bottom rail could interrupt foot traffic.

For a home with both children and pets, the gate offers one shared way to manage access to rooms rather than relying on separate barriers. Its stated age and pet-weight ranges help determine whether it suits the intended use.

## Practical questions

**What opening size is this gate designed for?** It measures 100 inches wide and 42 inches tall. Measure the opening before installation so you can plan the mounting position.

**Who is the gate intended for?** It is intended for children ages 6 to 24 months or small to medium pets weighing 10 to 40 pounds.

**Does installation require drilling?** Yes. This is a hardware-mounted gate that requires drilled holes. Brackets, latches, wall anchors, screws, floor hooks, and instructions are included to support installation.

## Final verdict

The Miumoon CB328 is a practical fit for caregivers who want a wide, retractable boundary for a doorway, hallway, or stairway without a bottom bar across the floor. Its reinforced mesh, double-lock, and retractable design make it useful for managing access around young children and small to medium pets while keeping the passage clear when the gate is open.
